I’m so amused by the title for this C-drama and honestly love that it doesn’t include the words blossom, spring, power, or love. Yay for creativity lol! The wuxia detective period C-drama Leopard in Seclusion (豹隐南山 Bao Yin Nan Shan or Leopard in Seclusion in South Mountain) is slated to kick off filming in a few weeks, at the end of September. The drama is a big male lead story where the synopsis has the two male leads working together to solve mysteries and crack a major conspiracy. The male lead is Gong Jun who honestly has a niche of doing male lead centric dramas, but his last one Blood River didn’t make any waves and trickled into obscurity. He does have the Legend of Lu Xiaofeng coming up and that one with a more energetic character and comedic tones may be a nice change of image and pace and a return to his period comedic high era with Word of Honor.
