Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo Experience Sweet Young Romance in the Late PD Ahn Pan Seok’s Last Filmed K-drama Between Steps
What’s with so much cuteness coming out of K-drama land this week with upcoming dramas. First Take Charge of My Heart and now Between Steps (Korean title Love Doctor). Fall season usually sees more serious or melancholy moods when it comes to romance dramas and yet we’re getting light hearted fun couplings. In Between stars Kim So Hyun and Choo Young Woo as university/grad school students that find growth, learning, and of course sweet romance in the world of higher learning. He’s a former competitive swimmer that lost his leg and is now a robotics grad student and she’s a former fashion design student that also transitions into studying robotics. With this set up of disappointment followed up second chances and this drama coming from late PD Ahn Pan Seok who usually does very moody, quiet, slow pieces it’s a genuine surprise to see the trailer being so bright bubbly and cheerful. I love it and am even more excited to watch this when it premieres next month October 5th.

I don’t know what it is about this actress but ever since they rushed her into adult roles too soon she will forever look like a teen to me and I just can’t get into her roles with romance involved. She is a great actress though. I have yet to watch her anymore because of this. I think she should try other genres but that is just me. No hate.🤷🏻♀️
