C-actor Wu Lei Looks Charmingly Boy Band-esque in Recent New Look at Brand Events
The decreased C-drama production this year means that the pickiest of stars will be back on the small screen even more infrequently, and one of them is actor Wu Lei. At least he’s left me two dramas I can rewatch in Love Like the Galaxy and Amidst a Snowstorm of Love so that it’s not entirely fallow ground. It’s also nice to see him recently active in brand and promo events, and he’s looking very fresh and younger with the lighter hair color and a boy band-esque styling that his still young age of 26 years old since he’s been a child actor in the industry for twenty years and everyone thinks he’s older than he really is. I hope he comes back soon with a great drama project whether modern or period, and unlike others I actually quite enjoy his brand of eye stare intensity in romances haha.
Wow, we have quite opposite opinions of Wu Lei in some ways. I actually feel like this look ages him in a terrible way. And I dislike his eye stare intensity – which comes off like a bad acting choice to me. I do hope he will come back in a period drama. He has the gravitas for it.
He does look like he is on tour to sing lol. Especially the all white outfit. I don’t like him in romance though. Love like the galaxy and the ballad dramas are the only ones where the romance did not seem to matter cause plot was more interesting. His stare needs some work though and then it would be smooth sailing. It comes off so creepy lol
