Japanese entertainment was hit with a shocking sad news yesterday with the unexpected passing of 18 year old idol Matsuno Rina. A member of the cute girls idol group Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku (Private Ebisu Junior High School), which is the younger sister group to very popular Momoiro Clover Z, Matsuna fell ill on Tuesday and missed a group concert that night in Osaka. She was home recuperating when the situation took a turn for the worse and by the next morning at 5 am she was rushed by ambulance from her home to the hospital where she sadly didn’t make it. Despite being only 18, she was a veteran of over ten years in the entertainment industry, having been scouted at 6 years old when she was just in first grade, starting off doing kids modeling and shows before joining the idol group in her teens.
