Part II of the Mary Stayed Out All Night OST will be released on December 27th, including all the songs we’ve heard recently, such as “Hello, Hello” and “I Will Promise You”. Like the Part I OST, the CD will come with gorgeous picture cards, including scenes from the drama. I’m totally buying this baby! The last OST I bought before … Continue reading →
Sorry to have to do this to all the M3-fans, but I’ve got more bad news. The news is not that I’m jumping ship based on the screen cap above I chose to top this post. Nope, the bad news is that I will not be here to steer the Holiday Couple ship to its glorious and sweet conclusion next … Continue reading →
Now that all the songs have been released from the Mary Stayed Out All Night OSTs, I can safely say this is one of my favorite OSTs from any drama. It’s not terribly edgy or sophisticated, but the music is lovely to listen to and the songs have a touch of heart and warmth. Even the silly Bus song turns … Continue reading →
Those concert pictures yesterday really resurrected my flagging enthusiasm big time. Too bad the concert scene wasn’t in today’s episode 13 of Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!), but I am forever a patient Koala and will gird myself for the onslaught of Jang Geun Seok performing on stage as Kang Mu Gyul hotness in the upcoming episode. … Continue reading →
What is my definition of the word “drama”? I use to think it was synonymous with “shit that can never happen in real life.” There has been a concerted effort to make dramas more realistic, and I do love the trend. Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!) was always a fantasy little romantic yarn, never mind that I … Continue reading →
[Edit: I’ve recapped the preview dialogue~] I’ll be back to translate the dialogue in a bit. Having a mini-drawgroup reunion with my girls (if anyone gets the reference, then I am definitely your Cardinal sunbae), so can’t do anything more right now other than provide the linky for the preview to episode 13 of Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry … Continue reading →
[Edit: I’ve embedded the fan videos of the band performing “Hello Hello” and “Take Care, My Bus”] I didn’t want to insert my perspective into everyone’s comments and speculations (you guys were having a party with the theories), but I was really positive that Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!) wasn’t going to have anmesia, life-threatening injury, or anything of … Continue reading →
Mary Stayed Out All Night fans in Korean rejoice! KBS’s official M3 website posted an announcement for an open shoot on December 19, 2010, at Hongdae. The production has done this a few times already, alerting fans to their shooting schedule. This will likely be the last open shoot day, since the drama is wrapping up in two weeks. If you live … Continue reading →
How shall I put this? I read Javabeans’ recap for episode 12 of Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!) yesterday, and I was planning to contend with her assertion that the drama had lost its mind. I wasn’t planning to use empirical evidence, but merely note that comparatively, it wasn’t all that nonsensical. Yeah, today I’m forever … Continue reading →
Not everyone has watched episode 12 of Mary Stayed Out All Night, which didn’t show a preview at the end of the episode and instead showed NG scenes from the entire drama thus far. It’s adorable and funny, and can be watched regardless of whether you’ve caught up with the drama. I’m not going to translate since the actors are … Continue reading →
Excuse me for a moment. My belly really hurts. No, I didn’t eat anything bad. On the contrary, I ate something so good it made my belly ache from the laughter and the worry. For the first time in 12 episodes of Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!), everything clicked and all my right emotional buttons were pushed. … Continue reading →
Are you guys happy again? I’m over fifty-percent happy, which is a glass half full scenario. All things considering, this is a damn good place to be. Because so many dramas have failed me in the second half this year alone, the fact that episode 11 of Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!) was one of its best, … Continue reading →
After I posted the written preview for episode 10 of Mary Stayed Out All Night (Marry Me, Mary!), the onslaught of shrill screams from M3-fans made it feel like an impending drama-pocalypse. I don’t think anyone signed up for M3 expecting a Noh Hee Kyung slice-of-life drama with Kim Soo Hyun dialogue wrapped in Jung Ha Yeon level abs-of-steel plot … Continue reading →
