Awww, it’s so nice to see the boys back together, even if it’s just two out of four. Vanness Wu’s upcoming album C’est La V is dropping on July 17th and as usual he’s found a slew of collaborators for many of the tracks. For the track “Do It”, Vanness got his F4 bandmate Vic Zhou (Zai Zai) – or shall I say the two Vs in JVKV – to lay down the vocals for the rap portion. This is my face when I heard this news: O___O. Y’all know I love Zai Zai, but enunciating is not his strong suit. The boy mumbles to say the least, and while he’s gotten much better in recent years, he would not be the first F4 brother I would find to lay down rap vocals. That ought to be Vanness himself actually.
Apparently the studio folks were also shocked that Vanness got Zai Zai to rap, and everyone was expecting it to be a big ole mess. But Vanness told everyone that back in the F4 days, he went drinking and karaoking with Zai Zai once and heard him rap, and Zai Zai’s rapping skillz blew Vanness away. It’s just that Zai Zai is so shy and rapping was Vanness’ specialty, hence he never showcased it during any of their F4 days. After hearing Zai Zai rap, the album producers were thrilled with the results and everyone complimented Vanness for finding an unlikely rap star in the normally shy Zai Zai. Okay, now I’m totally dying to hear my Zai Zai rap.
He really doesn’t seem like a rapper XD But it’s even like this with people you know: You learn something new about them all the time ^^ I’m curious as to what it will sound like!
It’s already out in you tube. it was well done, very nice, like what i said i can’t imagine how he did the rapping. still he has a very soft voice. him and vanness did a very good job! hope you find it and enjoy listening to it like i did.
lol Now I’m really curious. Can’t wait to hear him rap now. (And can’t wait to hear Van Ness as well lol, since he’s my bias in F4)

Zai Zai could rap, sing, scream, grunt, blow bubbles, or just sit there and do nothing but look beautiful. I don’t care. I’m a fan. Can’t wait to hear this…

Hi koala! Have been a silent lurker here for a while, and a regular lurker since the LTM days (I LOVE HWANHYE!!) but today reading this post I decided to post a comment for the first time. Yes it does my heart wonders to see the boys back together again even if its just two out of four. MG was my first foray into asian dramas, and the original TW four will always have a special place in my heart. Can’t wait to listen to ZaiZai’s rap. 🙂
