Written Preview for Episode 6 of Miss Rose

He’s here! Hahaha, I just realized I made the arrival on the scene of Miss Rose of Si Yi’s ex-boyfriend seem like a demon possession of some sort. I’ve noticed this happens not infrequently in TW-dramas for a second lead character to show up well into the drama run, like James Wen did in My Queen, or the rotating cast of second male leads in Drunken to Love You. Not that I have a problem with it, but it does make it hard to ever second lead ship since the guy is always late to the party. In MR, what’s going to make this love triangle fun is the ex-boyfriend’s past history with Si Yi, and based on some BTS videos I watched, apparently he left her to go study abroad as opposed to dumping her or cheating on her. So it’s highly likely he’ll come back asking for another chance with her, and I can’t wait to watch Cheng Kuan try to interject himself into a possibly reconciling couple, all the while trying to maintain his mutually beneficial relationship with Vivian. The stills in this post come from the three leads meeting the media at a ballroom studio, where Roy Qiu is learning to tango, Chao Chun Ya needs to learn to waltz, and Megan Lai needs to learn both, all for an upcoming scene. If Roy and Megan’s tango even touches 10% of the heat generated by the OTP in City Hall, we will all need to invest in ice packs watching this drama.

Written preview for episode 6:

Loving the flower, treasuring the flower pot? Loving the house, cherishing the birds nesting there?

Cheng Kuan brings the passed out Si Yi home. Si Yi’s mom checks him out like a mother-in-law checking out a son-in-law, and the more she sees, the more she likes. Si Yi’s dad instead lays his critical gaze on Cheng Kuan, which gives Cheng Kuan the shivers…..

The furious Vivian tattles to her dad President Jiang. Will Cheng Kuan be able to avoid this blow up? A beautifully wrapped present sits on the desk and Cheng Kuan faces it to practice what he’s going to say, each word is something sweet and tender that makes a person’s heart beat faster and face blush. Are his words an apology to Vivian? Or a confession of his real feelings for Si Yi?

The entire Screw family happily celebrates Si Yi’s dad’s birthday, and the television reports on the arrival of an LED development wunderkind. Shockingly, that person turns out to be………Miss Screw’s ex-boyfriend Tang Yi Jun!

    • Roy looks even more boyish on the pics above. 🙂

Hope that CCY and Megan will have nice chemistry together as well.

Can’t wait, can’t wait. Why do I have to wait again? Ah right. Today has been Friday. *pouts*

  1. Why do I always turn to a puddle of goo when I see a pic of Roy? At least I’m a very happy puddle of goo.

Storing ice packs as I type…

  2. I know that it is obviously referring to her as a cog in the great wheel of the company, but I can’t hear the nickname “Miss Screw” without my mind going into the gutter. Every. Single. Time.

    • It’s actually more a play on her name – Luo Si Yi, and the Chinese word for “screw” is luo si. Maybe that’ll help. 😉

      • Ooooh, that makes sense–thanks for the explanation! My mind will still go into the gutter, but at least it will be well-informed down there. 🙂

  3. Watch, he’s going to make his entrance like at the very last 1 minute right before episode 6 ends…and then we fade white to the preview of the next ep. My money on it =P
