I worry that the screenwriter has really laid her groundwork for the entire story of Marry Him If You Dare (Mirae’s Choice) but it won’t be until the very end that all the clues line up and all the issues get resolved. Along the way the viewers are frustrated and the characters get pulled through the ringer only to reach their destined conclusions. Sometimes the journey is enjoyable, but so far I think the aggravating elements in this drama threaten to overwhelm the lovely scenes. It’s more than halfway done airing and this drama has been truly surprising to say the least. With the drama named after the main female lead, she’s the least engaging character and instead the male lead gets all my interest for what he did in the future and how he’s changing in the present. The secondary OTP is as engaging if not moreso than the main OTP, and my heart is wholly on their side because I feel like they are collateral damage in the main OTPs issues. The written and video previews for episode 10 are out and I’m liking all the heightened emotions and coalescing conflict. I think I might cry during Yoo Kyung’s confession to Se Joo, when he totally friend-zones her again and says she’s his best friend, and she tells him not to say that because she doesn’t want to hear it from the man she loves. Umph, pain.
Doesn’t look like Mi Rae is letting her disappointment and doubt about a future with Shin cause her to suddenly develop an interest in Se Joo, and I find it adorable the way Miranda hears that Mi Rae thinks of Se Joo as a friend and then she goes to thwack her grandson for carrying an one-sided love. The fourth song from the OST dropped in episode 9 and it’s called “It’s You” by Park Hyo Shin. It’s Shin’s song (the earlier ones being Mi Rae’s song and one for Se Joo) and totally captured the moment in the studio when Shin read Mi Rae’s line impromptu on air. The way she lit up, the way he understood how to stand up for her, they are like kindred spirits of the opposites attract kind. I feel for Se Joo because his approach to Mi Rae isn’t helping much, the way he coddles her and comforts her, when even Oppa thinks she needs some tough love to jump start her life. In rewatching the haunted house interlude, it’s clear that every Shin-Mi Rae interaction is always loaded with additional meaning and sometimes I wish the writer would just come out and tell me so that I can make up my mind about whether they have a chance to change their future together or ought to pick new partners.
Written preview for episode 10:
“My life, my marriage, I will make the choice and create it!”
Future Mi Rae sees an image of an exhausted Kim Shin and she counsels him to lower his head in front of Se Joo for once. Oppa asks present Mi Rae what her goal in life is? Mi Rae thinks about all the time she’s wasted and thinks about what kind of program writer she wants to become. On the other hand, the Morning Team wins an award for their subway fire coverage and Oppa decides as Team Leader that the entire team needs to go on an picnic retreat with the prize money.

I had a flashback to Ah Jung of LTM when I saw Mi Rae's new hairdo in this preview!
hi.
i'm catching up with this series last few days. BUt i have no one to talk/share abt it..:-p
If what Ahjumma said re:Shin killed someone she loved... could it be he killed himself.?
Curious to know what other ppl think.. :D
I can think of a few people Shin killed:
1. His own self - not on purpose, though because Shin would never do that; I think he died saving Mi Rae.
2. Happy carefree Mi Rae - Mi Rae changes into a hard and bitter woman because of the responsibilities and difficulties she has to go through after marriage.
3. Mi Rae's brother
4. The writer - for turning Mi Rae into a weeping spineless heroine.
I actually think he caused the death of Mi Rae and his child.
I don't think it's Mi Rae...because if it is her she would not be able to travel back to the past to change anything.
This is the wrong thread to be asking this but am not able to place question anyplace else. I opened koala'splayground.com and the header which figures snapshots from various dramas has this blue one with a man leaning in to kiss a woman. The quote next to it is "If these two do not kiss sometime in the next episode, I swear to God, I am going to fly to Japan and strangle a writer if I want to"
Very much a koala comment this, found it hilarious, just want to know what drama this is from. I cant save the pic as no right click is permitted in this site but hope u get the description. I want to know just for that comment of yours. Thanks!
@A: the heading was from the Japanese drama: "Rich Man, Poor Woman".
Oh, doesn't seem an interesting drama. Thanks anyways nsk
