On the heels of Kim Soo Hyun being giddy beyond belief at his press conference for thriller movie Real, now there’s Song Joong Ki beaming like he just won the lottery at the latest media event promoting period movie Battleship Island. It doesn’t hurt that he finally paired his gorgeous million dollar smile and baby boy good looks with an outfit that doesn’t hurt my eyes. He wore a casual short sleeve button down shirt and pants combo in a dark metallic print that looked like camo at first glance and a closer look appears to be a floral pattern. It actually looks fantastic on him, boyish and fun even with the too short pants because it’s a cutesy type outfit to begin with and he paired it with burgundy loafers. Not to mention the movie is about a wartime effort to save Korean laborers enslaved by the Japanese on Hashima Island, the camo-like print matches the mood perfectly.
He lost weight for his movie, looks thinner now but much younger haha. Doesn’t look like 31. Hope to see him back in dramaland soon.
It’s cute seeing child actresses get smitten by him too. He surely got loads of charm.
He must be so charming in real life❤. Sjk outfit Is bit weird but he carrying it so well. I love his choice in suits and shirts.
aish… that smile !,fall in love is always something.
Ms Koala – Thanks for the post. Love his megawatt smile. Btw the first photo clearly shows he’s wearing lace-ups, not loafers.
His smile makes you wanna smile
Hoottie and fresh looking
Hope this movie is good and doesn’t turn out to be a critical flop like Kim Soo Hyun’s movie.
He’s really got a baby face. Such a cutie!
I think as an actor Song Joong Ki is better and much more interesting and experimental than Kim Soo Hyun. SJK’s dramas and movies have all been better in my opinion. Not to say Nice Guy was good, but his acting made that drama worth watching it. I’m making this comparison only because both of them have their movies coming this year basically competing. Anyway, I don’t think battleship will flop like Real, because I’ve noticed there isn’t as much mediaplay surrounding it and it hasn’t taken years to release the film, unlike Real..
+1. I like both actors, specifically KSH in the Moon Embracing the Sun. But after watching all the films/dramas of both actors, personally I think SJK is more versatile than KSH. The way SJK delivered emotional scenes is layered with nuance that’s sometimes uncanny but can hurl me into the soul of the role he played. However I love KSH and won’t miss any of his projects, sometimes I hope his acting can be more natural.
He sure is good looking.
Song hye Kyo described him as handsome, clear skin and hot. And some described him as very charismatic person and very popular
