New Preview for Disney+ K-drama Perfect Crown with IU and Byun Woo Seok Brings the Pathos and Intensity — 13 Comments

    • It’s the same thing I thought when I saw his images for the first time. But visually speaking, he now pleases my eyes. LOL. Given my preference for faces with well-defined facial structure and balanced proportions, from what I’ve seen in East Asian biz, I lean towards the Chinese. This interest of mine for faces with such features began with Yan Yikuan.

      • agree with your observation about the visuals of the chinese people in entmt. these faces tend to have better features and less resection. too bad that c-dramas usually force to put brains on sleep mode lol. if i want to appreciate their visuals i can easily just watch tiktok edits without wasting a lot of my time in draggy plots. i did this with wuxia generation to generation – what a lazy direction.

  1. I am definitely going to watch it but I keep catching myself lately having more and more issues with obviously plastic faces.

  2. The teaser looks fun. BWS looks ok. But am I the only one who can’t feel the chemistry?? This kind of should have HOT CHEMISTRY. But I can’t feel anything. What a loss. I was looking forward for this

  3. For me it’d bringing lots of botox, at best.

IU is and always has been a mediocre actress, eh. He’s yet to impress me.

  4. In my country and the region, it used to be common to have dubbed versions for movies and TV (including animatioms). Dubbing has lost ground and quality here since 2010, but if platforms like Disney+, Prime Video, and Netflix include it in K-dramas, folks will choose it over reading subtitles, whether for convenience or because they dislike the language (as indicated by In Sync Post surveys).
