I think it’s for the best and wish this newlywed couple all the best in navigating the early days of marriage plus the demands of expecting a baby. K-ent is reporting that newlywed acting couple Lee Dong Gun and Jo Yoon Hee are quitting the tvN reality show Newlywed Diary due to her dealing with unexpected pregnancy complications. There’s no concrete info about whether it’s something serious or the general pregnancy discomfort but I’m glad the couple has made the smart choice to halt their entertainment activities and focus on the health and well being of mommy and baby. They were already filming but the episodes haven’t aired yet so likely audiences will not be seeing them on the show, and their participation will be taken over by another newlywed couple Oh Sang Jin and Kim So Young. Wishing Lee Dong Gun and Jo Yoon Hee a healthy rest of the pregnancy period!

I was hoping they would be replaced by newly wed Jang Sang Woo couple or Lee Sang Woo couple but alas……
There are certain reasons why I find Lee Dong Gun iffy, and one of the reasons I figured out was that his eyes resemble too much of Kim Hyun Joong’s. This seems far fetched, but I can’t get that image out of my head. His looks, generally, give me a bad vibe about him. I hope Jo Yun Hee’s pregnancy goes well and I hope they’ll have a happy marriage.

Oh no, I also hope it’s just general pregnancy discomfort. I didn’t know they were filming a reality show and think she should definitely take it easy since it’s her first pregnancy. I hope her and her baby stay in good health and she delivers well.
