HK Pop Star Sammi Cheng Forgives Cheating Husband Andy Hui and Ends Tabloid Spotlight on Their Marriage Future
Every news story has an ending, some just happen offscreen after media attention dies. In what may be one of the fastest celeb cheating story cycles, in mere four days after HK-ent was rocked by the biggest news in years with singer Andy Hui cheating on his longtime partner and wife top star Sammi Cheng, their future appears to be still together after Sammi broke her silence. Sammi updated on her SNS account a long-ish message about how hard marriage is, about forgiveness, about growing as a couple and learning from mistakes, and finally about leaning on her Christian faith to guide her at this time. She’s decided to forgive her husband Andy Hui who was caught on dash cam video making out with much younger starlet Jacqueline Wong. Whether we think she should forgive him doesn’t matter, she has chosen to and explained thoughtfully why she is going to stay in the marriage and fix what is broken. Damn, that Andy Hui is such a lucky bastard, makes it even more nauseating that he was so cavalierly and flippantly cheating on Sammi until he was caught and did his mea culpa.
I actually believe for Sammi to forgive him means she has a bigger heart than someone letting go, deciding to split up and becoming an independent woman. Time will tell and heal wounds at the same time. Whatever makes Sammi happy is all that matters after such a big let down by someone she loved.

I always heard that they have had their share of issues. That is why they got married so late. Wasn’t it 20 years of dating off and on? I guess, the guy can cheat all he wants, but he still wants Sammi as his wife.
Hopefully, Andy can make a decision himself, does he want to stay in the marriage or leave and find someone else instead of continuing to cheat on Sammi. No one really knows what goes on in their marriage but the two of them. I would have thought with Sammi’s personality she would have left the marriage after the evidence in a video.
I watched the video, it was not a one night thing, it seemed like the affair has been going on for a very long time.
For some reason, I think Jacqueline Wong has already broken up with his boyfriend Ken Ma, his statement on the cheating scandal was just way too calm and cavelier for a girlfriend that he loved so much that cheated on him.
from what I have read, Jacqueline first pursued Kenneth because she is his longtime fan. Seems like she can do it with any older men. She is a pro.

I hope she truly forgives him and moves on and completely trust him going forward; or else It sure will be an issue between them, like the scar never fade away. A man expects a woman to forgive him which means she will completely forget about the past and not monitor his whereabouts; however, to a woman, that humanly impossible and the conflict arises comes with argument. Biggest Scandal since Edison’s. Boosted Apple’s viewership 10 fold overnight. Even one of the HK sites which typically has maybe 10-20 commenters on a week day, went up to 300 that night.
WHY any 30 yr old would want to cheat with Andy Hui, and at 51 … is a mystery. Part of why it’s so big is because Jacqueline made all these plans to befriend Sammi and work out with her like gfs, before moving in on her husband. Almost sociopathic.
Went to the same dance school so saw Jacqueline performing a few times. Ironically, her showbiz-host sister Scarlett at 37 is much more alive looking and prettier. Attractive enough to get attentions of a tycoon 26 yr old bf.
In comparison, JW just looks kinda tired ‘dated’ for 30.
Both are local University educated and from good high schools, middle class and have enough (what the HKgers who used to come here as international students called it – dowry/家装, 浸过咸水 （soaked in salt water in Cantonese, as in grew up educated abroad).
Why not just snare a 富二代, so many in her hometown Vancouver. Whether from Hk, Taiwan or China. Huawei CEO is but many lurking in the suburbs where she went to school.
