2019 Child Actor Powerhouse Kim Kang Hoon From When the Camellia Blooms to Play Young Nam Joo Hyuk in K-drama Sandbox
I totally missed the gradual arrival of child actor Kim Kang Hoon prior to 2019 which was his breakout year. He’s been playing the kid or kid versions of male leads for a few years now but last year he did the younger former child actor himself Yeo Jin Gu in Hotel Del Luna and more importantly was the son of Gong Hyo Jin in When the Camellia Blooms. For the last drama he won Best Child Actor at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards which was totally fitting. Up next for this child actor wunderkind is playing young Nam Joo Hyuk in 2020 K-drama Sandbox which is also starring Suzy and Kim Sun Ho. That’ll be an interesting drama for sure whether good or bad, and before then Kim Kang Hoon got a chance to pal around with his onscreen birth father Kim Ji Suk in an adorable pictorial in Nylon Korea.
He was in Criminal Minds and Mr Sunshine.

Regarding the drama, I wish Kim sun ho is the male lead. He was always good and I hope 2020 bring a good opportunity.

He was cute in Knowing Brother with Bona, Kim Hye Yoon and SF9’s Rowoon and Chani. It was a funny episode. He spoke about his girlfriend, his mom, his last drama, etc.
He is going to be a big star, I hope he grows up well.
His first big break might have been as Lee Seon Kyun’s son in This Week My Wife Will Have an Affair (Listen to Love). It was so funny how in the first episode viewers (and recappers) were confused whether that kid was a boy or a girl. It really was hard to tell. haha…
I have been a fan of his since then. He was so adorable and the fact that he played a kid so matured in thinking was spectacular. Never missed any of his shows since then. I watched Mr. Sunshine because of him.
Oh my my woozie drama male leads getting to B tier after delievering flop like vagabond, seque being cancellled, cable drama doing better than her sbs drama and a useless role in movie which no top actress would sign. She failed to make TOP CF list which is only good thing she had. Quite good a non actress like her need such floppings. Woozie u wont be missed and u will be finished by your 30s. Like han ga in. But atleast han ga in retired with moom ebracing the sun but ur dramas keep flopping!
