One of the early 2021 arrivals on my radar is KBS drama Hello? It’s Me!, complete with the question mark and the exclamation in its title. Sadly it’s forty years too late for Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret type teen girl puberty introspection though there is a teen girl here and my premonition is that she’s going to steal the show. The drama is about a thirty-something ordinary rather bumbling Choi Kang Hee who somehow brings forth her 17 year old confident sassy past self played by Lee Re who is obviously dismayed and frustrated to see that 20 years later her life has gone downhill from when there was once so much potential. I’m sure there will be viewers who can relate but I firmly believe it’s never too late to make a change and try to be better. I rarely like a Choi Kang Hee drama enough to watch it through other than Protect the Boss but this one gives me the same vibes plus the promos are great so I’m definitely checking it out come February 17th.

Really looking forward to this one, I also am not much of a Choi Kang hee fan but I have high hopes for this.
Oh gosh you and me both... those were the days of Judy Blume teen novels.
Do any teen girls now still read her books?
I can't connect with Choi Kang Hee's drama for some reason...I'll wait for feedback on initial episodes for this new drama.
This is just from my experience but I have tween/teenage nieces and yes, they read her books.
That's great!
So nice that her books are enduring... In 5 to 6 years, I'll ask my girl to read too.
yayy,it's Kim Young Kwang! I'm not a super fan of Choi Kang Hee but she's quite good in choosing her projects.
