Okay, me so not likey this. My affinity and appetite for horror keeps going down year after year and it’s currently at zombie flicks okay but creepy kid killing shows no okay. Netflix has released the poster and a few promo stills for its upcoming K-drama Hellbound, adapted from the webtoon To Hell. The show has been selected to show at the upcoming Toronto Film Festival which does add to the prestige element, not to mention it was already highly anticipated due to the star-studded casting of Yoo Ah In, Park Jung Min, Kim Hyun Joo, Won Jin Ah, and Yang Ik Joon. That’s two sets of leads and one exceptional character actor. The story is about one day harbingers of death, the grim reapers, start showing up and people being taken to Hell. That’s the general synopsis and I’m too scaredy cat to read the webtoon and see what it’s about. Sweet Home was probably the extent of my ability to read creepy webtoons/mahwas/mangas. Anyhoo, this looks as bleak and terrifying already so I will need lots of light and Mr. Koala to watch with me when it premieres.

Love me some horror so I’m in!!
The poster is…something. Netflix is killing it with their kdrama productions. Been impressed by Kingdom and Extracurricular, and this Hellbound and Squid Game looks good too. Their original productions are different than your standard kdramas, and always have quality production values and solid acting.
Oops. Meant for my comment to be standalone instead of a reply. And also messed up my display name ?♀️
XDD It’s okay but I agree with you !
Finally! Been waiting for this series + Sea of Tranquility, Squid Game looks like Alice in Borderland haha but the production looks good so will check that out too
At the beginning of the year, they presented the Netflix Kdramas. I’m happy to hear news with D.P. and this one!
This looks so good. Netflix is bringing its A-game by investing in quality kdramas with good actors
Me on the other hand can’t wait to watch sea of silence
