Filming remains underway for detective mystery C-drama Guardians of the Dafeng based on the novel of the same name which is high on the buzz radar thanks to male lead Dylan Wang. He’s been on a hot streak since last summer’s surprise hit Love Between Fairy and Devil and Dafeng is his first period drama since with in between he filmed a modern romance with Bai Lu. Dafeng has Tian Xi Wei as his female lead and thank god because she’s cute and doesn’t annoy me which is always the bare minimum good case scenario in C-drama land when there are so many actresses that actually annoy me haha.
