Kim Woo Bin Kicks Off Filming for Kim Eun Sook Penned Fantasy Romance K-drama Everything Will Come True Reuniting with Suzy
So one of the most high profile K-dramas of 2024 has kicked off production as male lead Kim Woo Bin posted a picture of his character name placard on the table of what appears to be the script reading for the drama Everything Will Come True. It’s written by ratings magnet and probably the most well known screenwriter in K-drama land Kim Eun Sook, who continues to jump around genres as her most recent drama was the epic revenge thriller The Glory. This drama is more in the wheelhouse of her fantasy romances like The King: Eternal Monarch and Goblin as it’s about a genie in a lamp and the woman who summons him that he grants three wishes to. Said woman is played by Suzy as the female lead and is a reunion for the two stars from their first go around in the forever punched a hole in my heart melodrama Uncontrollably Fond. I cannot wait for this drama please come faster!
If there was a reunion I didn’t need, it’s this one. I didn’t like Uncontrollably Fond.
The plot reminds me the movie Three Thousand Years of Longing with a genie in the modern world.
Iโm so excited for this reunion omg! Suzy-LSGโs reunion was such a dud, but Iโm really hopeful on this one. Definitely one of the many highly anticipated dramas for the year. 2024 has a lot of high profile dramas coming up and I canโt wait!
i agree! when the casting for uncontrollably fond was announced, I was excited because i thought kim woo bin, who looks so manly, would look great with the very feminine-looking suzy. and then we all know how that drama turned out. i’ve always wondered how would it have been had they been paired in a well-written drama. hopefully, it’s this one!

Fans please tell me what charm does KWB have? I’ve never got it. Suzy’s acting was like a quantum leap from years ago. I’d be interested in checking out her new drama if she paired with someone else.

I will never understand Korea fondness for Suzy and how she has been pushed down everyone throats from her days in unwatchable “dream high”. Lucky girl
I do agree that she’s lucky that for some unexplainable reason, Korea adores her. Many more talented idols and actresses were passed over for her success, but I guess it’s ‘fate’.
If you think Dream High is unwatchable, Iโm thinking your drama choices are just not similar with the masses
Suzy’s acting has improved A LOT since her debut day, unlike many Chinese idol actresses who have been staying same old same old incompetent and boring dummies on screen while visuals are fading away. She was very impressive in Anna and then Doona. There were reasons why she was nominated for best actress of Daesang award. Now I’ll check all the new dramas she leads.
Bcuz she has the ‘first love’ aura.. just like Son Yejin back then. She was in a movie and became someone’s first love too. She was in dream high and became a first love for many young boys. She’s natural beauty and an idol. Koreans just love this type of ‘visual’, despite being less talented than many other people, but who cares. She has the X factor. Even foreigners love her. Many of my friends who rarely watch kdramas or listen to kpop know her.
Suzy and Woobin are named two of the most anticipated actors in 2024. If you don’t like then just leave then alone, as simpple as that
I personally am so excited for this reunion!!! I love both Kim Woo Bin and Suzy. Uncontrollably Fond was not a bad drama, but it was an absolute SAD one!!! But, it had nothing to do with the actors – that would be what we all call “the script”. My only hope is this drama will be a happy ending! ๐๐ค๐ป Ummm….I also love KWB’s deep baritone voice, and Dream High is a classic!!!!! The music is great….I watched both of them!!!! ๐๐ถ
