I don’t think this drama is air dropping anytime soon but it now has it’s airing permit so it’ll be up to iQiyi when it wants to slot it in. Period C-drama Follow Your Heart with Luo Yun Xi and Song Yi has been on my radar since it filmed last year and I loved the dark, mysterious, and quiet vibes of it’s first promo posters. The latest stills and posters released also made me realize that Cheng Lei is the second male lead here lol and that’s like an added bonus, though he’s looking very Phantom of the Opera in one of his stills. This isn’t a xianxia drama but a traditional period drama with action and mystery aplenty and I’m so onboard please be good drama!
Looking forward to this. I hope there won’t be any love triangles.
Saaad how Cheng Lei is pairing up with the 3rd FL and Chen Yao will be pairing up with the 3rd ML. I was looking forward to this thinking he’ll be paired up with Chen Yao 😢.

@Soph, @anubetaro, @ilikehim, I don’t even know who the 3rd ML is, but you guys can check their casting list on MDL or elsewhere. If you guys watch the BTS vids that the production have released so far then both 2nd leads are usually with the 3rd leads ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. I’m so saaaad! Why have 2 gorgeous 2nd leads and not pair them up together! It also looks like the 3rd ML and 3rd FL works with Song Yi’s character or at least knows her.
@avarchika You’re right. All the pictures seem to point that way. I don’t even know who the third male lead is after looking at the pictures. I’ve never seen him in anything. I feel a little sad for Chen Yao to be paired up with a “nobody” (don’t mean to be offensive). I’ve never seen him in anything, so maybe he’s a good actor. I will still watch for Cheng Lei and Chen Yao even if they aren’t paired together. Got all excited for nothing!
Who is the third ML? The posters show 3 actresses, but only two actors.

LYX does not look handsome at all. If anything, he looks gaunt and sickly. He has this long face that does not appeal to me at all. I was secretly disappointed that Cheng Lei wasn’t the male lead

Luo Yun Xi is so much prettier than Song Yi. What were they thinking pairing her with him. Song Yi isn’t that pretty in the 1st place yet they pair her up with a guy better looking than her. Like it isn’t bad enough that FL2 and FL3 look better than her. She’s a great actress but making her act with people who look better than her ain’t doing her no favors

I gotta agree with you. Both second female leads are prettier than her…..visually, making me wish they are the main leads instead. Nothing against Song Yi….when is Luo Yunxi gonna be paired with Dilraba? Coz I think they have very sharp looks and features….
The obsession of Cdrama / Kdrama fans with looks really needs to be studied. Acting skills, onscreen charisma and matching the roles they play are far important than conforming to some arbitrary beauty standards that not everybody agrees with anyway.
SY is very pretty. dont know what you’re talking about. LYX is not “pretty” at all. He’s good looking but put him in female clothes and it’s a no for me. I do like second female lead a lot though. she’s pretty AND can act. wish she had more popularity.

Song Yi is always acting cutesy…. And Luo yunxi’s next lead in another show Shui Long Yin is Jelly Lin. And she is always pouting. Chen Yao will be the second lead too …
