I don't find them both good-looking either but I wouldn't stoop low to become nasty just because my eyes aren't being blessed with beauty that you probably don't have yourself, let alone your favorite. Lol. Mocking, trying to ridicule and humiliate is not freedom of expression, and speaks volumes about the kind of person you are and the education and values you are supposed to have received.

      And all his last dramas are Huanrui. Even if they tried hiding the last one under a subsidiary, it's still Huanrui.

    • I can't reply to that "No" person directly so I'll answer here. Hero legends isnt old. It was filmed last year and it's not even aired yet🥴 Also Wang quan is from Stellar pictures. I don't know what you're trying to achieve here.

• Is he having allergic to modern drama??? I havent seen him in a modern drama for ages. Lol. Well, some actors are better staying in costume dramas bcuz their entire physical suits it more than in modern. Example CY and Leo Luo.

• Another internal company drama LOL. If he's really doing great ratings, why is he unable to score dramas from the production powerhouses? And Huanrui's recent financial reports shown that they aren't making profits.

• I honestly don't get all the hate for both Cheng Yi and Esther on this blog. There are so many hate comments on articles about these two and admittedly some others as well, that it's rather disgusting to read. Especially the comments about their looks. I understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but you don't have to go out of your way to write hateful comments about someone's looks.

    As for Cheng Yi, it's always the same fandom that drag him through the mud every single time (same can be said for Esther Yu). Seems, they're on edge since Mysterious Lotus Casebook's unexpected success last year. Let them cope.

    They better count themselves lucky though because their fav probably wouldn't enjoy such popularity had Zhang Zhe Han not been cancelled/blacklisted...just saying

• Another xianxia for chengyi. I guess this only thing he is good at, i look at his republican drama he is so awful on words delivery and his expression so stiff that probably why he's not get into any drama but costume.

• Another drama ruined by a lackluster mouseboy hiding his face behind bangs. If he gets paired with Miss SqueakyVoice then that only means there’s two good reasons not to watch this.
  I really wish investors would give real actors a chance instead of these jokes with their water armies.

• I thought we all had enough Xianxia to last at least more 2 lifetimes but appearently not so they want to keep on doing more.

  All the attention CY and Esther gets come from fandoms of other actors here at Koala.
  All these attacks you see on here are straight from X/Twitter but they all come originally from Weibo.
  I've learned it's all coordinated and organized attacks. It's war between fandoms.
  The fandoms of Chinese actors operate like KPOP's fandoms so they're full of mentally ill people being cruelly manipulated as ammunition by their idols.

    English-speaking online spaces for Chinese dramas are too small to get proper fanwars going on. Whether it's this blog, MyDramaList or even Reddit. The Cdrama fandom internationally is not as big as the Kpop fandom and I honestly prefer that. I feel like most of us just want to enjoy and discuss dramas, not engage in silly fandom fights like international Kpop fans are prone to do (and I'm saying this as a former Kpop fan.)

  There is a huge rumour going on in every weibo's rumours account saying that Esther will work with Bai Jingting on a tv series which have nothing to do with Xianxia.
