Seo In Guk Joins Blackpink’s Jisoo in New Romance K-drama Monthly Boyfriend

Oooh this is a promising casting and pairing. I may have found K-pop star Jisoo of Blackpink maybe too inexperienced to immediately lead a K-drama in her first outing in Snowdrop but she was better than I expected and had potential. She’s coming back on the small screen with the romance drama Monthly Boyfriend, her casting has been confirmed for weeks now and now her male lead is confirmed to be Seo In Guk. The drama is about a woman who subscribes to a virtual/fantasy boyfriend and that relationship starts to overlap with her real life. The drama is from the PD of No Love No Gain which has been an underrated buzzy drama airing right now on tvN Mon-Tues.

    • I don’t know if I’d go that far. JJY has been in the industry for 10 years and has regressed. Jisoo has limited acting experience under her belt. She’s bad now but she could improve with experience.

  2. Promising casting? She can’t even act. Yet is immediately handed Female lead. She was so bad in snowdrop n was out acted by everyone else

  3. She is megastar and more marketable than any of k actress. She brings money. Her tour enough made her rich to never work again. Blackponk brand is huge. Ofc it is bad for actual actresses who worked hard to reach here. But flops like suzy set an example

  4. Can’t carry a movie and drama on her shoulders. A decoration flowerpotm she doesn’t have international power of any blackponk member who will see the show at highest rates internationally as Suzy is flop local actress
