So it’s a mixed bag with Allen Ren‘s currently airing drama Love of Nirvana, initially it was deemed a flop from the premiere numbers but in recent days has actually been inching up in views and positive reviews. That should be a relief for iQiyi as it’s tapped Allen to be the male lead for the recently started filming xianxia C-drama The Perfect Match. I had to do a double take when I read the name of the female lead who is rising actress Wang He Run, and her name is wayyyy to similar to Dylan Wang’s Chinese name which is Wang He Di. All that aside, just reporting on another xianxia C-drama on deck in the plethora of such dramas proliferating C-ent.

Ahh! It’s Rain Wang! She really impressed me in Mysterious Lotus Casebook and I’m glad she’s getting main FL again. Not too impressed with ML, but I’ll take it!
Why do I feel like Allen is every other drama! Lol I feel like he’s in so many dramas but can’t never seem to break out in a big way. He’s likeable but I never taken a liking to most of his characters.

Allen ren needs to stop acting in romance dramas, the guy doesn’t emote any romantic interests in his leading ladies, nothing at all, Nada, zero, his whole demeanor repels his leading ladies.
Wang He Run is so underrated, glad she is finally back in a main role.
