Now this drama isn’t on deck yet or rumored to be airing soon but it’s still interesting to see how much male lead Deng Wei‘s situation has changed in the year since it was filmed. Xianxia C-drama Love of the Divine Tree got Deng Wei his first big top billed male lead role right after he broke out with Lost You Forever Part 1 last summer. I thought he would finish that drama and move on to the next drama rather nonstop but he hasn’t either for lack of scripts or lack of right roles offered. And since then LYF Part 2 being such a letdown in general and for his character especially has really not helped his career. This drama from the posters and preview really reminds me of Till the End of the Moon, his character and interactions with female lead Xiang Han Zhi and that love/hate/fate/turn bad/turn good push and pull. TBH it doesn’t look bad but does look been there done that.

Like both actors, but not feeling the trailer. I was thinking it would be great to see a drama about the behind-the-scenes of the making of a xianxia drama.

Xiang Han Zhi has a down to earth, ordinary girl look. So having Deng Wei will have enough good visuals for the both combined. Hopefully it is a good story.
I like the styling, the hair but the poster maybe should be changed. The kiss needs a bit of pout.
He looks way to beautiful when he is the Shifu but then looks devilishly handsome when his character turns on bad road in filming photos! Im kinda disappointed lead actress isnt one of my faves or known one but still excited for this a lot.
Im hoping that script writer change and turn novel into a better state though it was quiet bland & boring while reading.There was always that line of cliche cnovel line like: he was just so beautiful looking, she was getting whiter & prettier like a jade, he was simply so beautiful and charming vs vs lol even when a serious fight was going on writer always add those kinda lines like a high schooler watpadd lovestory.

Both actors are good and despite this being done many times, I feel that lack of good acting usually drags down other shows of this kind so if the script is good, I believe it can be a small hit! Also, the supporting cast is insane???
They both visually meet expectation for Xianxian? DW's suspicious PS jawline, lips, and nose can't be unseen! It's very distracting TBH. I like the FL though.
