Jeon Ji Hyun Named Newest K-star House Ambassador for French Couture House Louis Vuitton
I don’t recall seeing top actress Jeon Ji Hyun last month at the Paris fall fashion shows but she’s clearly still quite sought after as this week she landed a new couture gig. She’s the latest K-celeb to be named House Ambassador for Louis Vuitton, joining Lisa for the younger crowd and Gong Yoo repping the menswear. The brand released new fashion stills to announce her arrival and I definitely think she elevates the brand outfits and purses better than it aesthetically looks.

She’s gorgeous and I totally agree. I’m not into LV at all but JJH does give it far more class. She can prob rock a potato sack just as well. I hope she and Gong Yoo has a joint pictorial no matter how unlikely. That’s a combination I’d die for!
Even better than a joint pictorial, they do a drama or at least a movie together.

She elevates absolutely any brand she carries. She just has that kind of aura and star power. These bags are so meh but she somehow makes them look so good.
Also off topic but forever in awe of how elegant JJH is. Even when she does characters like Song Yi, she’s still so damn elegant.
Even when she’s scoffing her face with pasta and cake in lotbs she’s still elegant

Jun Ji Hyun is just effortlessly elegant. The same goes for Ni Ni. Ni Ni’s 2018 Bazaar photos by Chen Man still amaze me.
LV is soo bad but get that money. But I’m wondering if she left burberry since it suits her more. Lol the way she jumps from alexander mcqueen to burberry and now to LV.

Googled it and you’re def not kidding lol. That is a very unfortunate collab. I think SJK would fit in a more low key brand like Loewe or Celine. Its really hard to pull off LV, I dont think even Gong Yoo carries it off well.
Jun Ji Hyun can make even that collared potato sack in the first pic look like it’s an actual piece of clothing and not an unfortunate sewing accident
LV has beautiful bags but their actual clothes can be a bit hard to wear for anyone who’s not on a runway. But JJH basically looks like a runway model so it’s not surprising even these weird clothes can’t defeat her height and beauty.
LV are really smart the way they’re able to bag zendaya, cate blanchett and Emma stone etc they don’t even need to try. It’s the star power that’ll sell their ugly clothes.
Burberry is a label with a lot of classic coats but their collections since she was their brand ambassador have mostly been really bad and the campaigns badly photographed.
Even LV weird womenswear by Nicolas Ghesquiere is better than that those weird blue logos and duck prints that Burberry has been putting out.
Bae Doona has been an ambassador for LV since long and it suits her style very well.
Jeon Ji-Hyun is superb for choice for Korea/East Asia market, a smart House ambassador choice.
LIsa has a world presence…thus she is a great global ambassador for younger target group. Just like how BTS Jin for Gucci.
So her agency does things sometimes, the other actresses don’t seem to get a lot of deals…
Yeah. Kim So Hyun’s career became more stagnant. She only secure 1 endorsement despite giving the agency back-to-back global OTT hits.

I generally hate the expression of an actress being a “Queen” but if ever there was an appropriate time to use that, it would be right here. All she needs is a crown. And all we need is for her to do a sageuk lol.
Louis Vuitton lost money this year and while watching a bit of the fashion show i understand why . Louis Vuiton has a great visibility because it’s kind of the house ( la maison mère) of LVMH group . Th fashion show that stole the hearts was LOEWE’s one . The others Fashion shows were as we said here BOF . Good to see a old name as Courrèges which was really popular in the 70’s returning to light little by little ! JJH has merit to look great in anything !
@Cahill, LVMH have so many Brands under their Company now… It is very competitive. Did you hear of the Celine story… Celine have disappeared this year..gone quiet. Lisa have since moved to LV. I suspect there may be a new designer at some point…Hedi Slimane may leave Celine or he may have new direction for the brand.
I just return from Paris…a week or so after Paris fashion week. Paris was still very busy…. Love Paris for short trips. Need to learn some french now..
I’m not much into fashion now ,but still look some fashion shows , and LVMH has a lot of luxury brands under Bernard Arnault even Tiffany . But this year some Luxury brands did less benefit , but not Chanel even with the sudden departure of Virginie Viard . There is a fashion reporter who covers the Paris fashion week , he knows a lot of stylists an d about fashion and comments with humor . He has a youtube channel : Loic Pringent . You may like it !
LV clothing sucks and makes most of their ambassadors look like fashion victims, but the brand pays the most, so get that bag JJH.
LV seems on a mission to book the biggest stars of every country as their ambassador. They even poached Zendaya over from Valentino.

Jeon Ji Hyun is forever stunning and forever A-list. She can make their aesthetic work. They definitely seem to be aiming for a certain demographic signing Gong Yoo and now Jeon Ji Hyun. They are much better choices than SJK was. He just looks ridiculous in LV. He has neither the swag nor the height to make their designs work especially in the Pharrell Williams era designs
