It’s been so disheartening to see some of the online netizen mean spirited mockery of K-actress Moon Geun Young and her weight gain visuals at the drama press conference in her first acting return in 5 years with Hellbound 2. Thankfully it’s only a section of the online commentary and there remains a lot of positive support and excitement to see her onscreen. This weekend’s Netflix release of Hellbound 2 is getting mixed reviews for the story but K-netizens uniformly agree Moon Geun Young’s performance is spot on and it’s like she never took a break with how good she is at acting. That’s really wonderful to hear and hopefully she continues with this acting return in the right roles.
Welcome back Moon Geun Young! Keep on slaying and just ignore those haters!

I hated season 1 so am not likely to check out season 2, but I am sure glad for her!
I’ve missed her. I will be watching for her even though I don’t usually watch that type of show.
I will watch to support Moon Geun-young…I miss her on screen.
Wow it’s been so long since I saw her. Glad she’s back, after all she’s such a good actress
Didn’t even recognize it was her while watching the show.
I am so happy for her.
She has always been one of the best Korean actors and I always wondered why she didn’t become a huge movie star gracing all the prestigious film festivals .
I would like to recommend to everyone to watch her A tale of two sisters. It is one of the best psychological horror films and she will haunt you. Top notch writing and directing by the great Kim Jee Woon .
I think she took on long hiatus because of her sickness.
@Jana, Great movie indeed . Should be worldwide known .
Love that she took on a challenging antagonist role as her comeback. What a power move!
I thought Hellbound was a mess but at least I’m happy for MGY. Hope she’s back full time now. She’s such a talented actress.
It’s so nice to see her back and the great reviews for her performance. I hope she is gets some nominations during awards season.
Now can Netflix throw Moon Chae Won a bone. She is so underrated and underused 😭
