C-star Zhang Zhe Han Holds Concert in South Korea Where He First Time Publicly Discusses His Cancellation for Visiting Yasukuni Shrine

It’s been three years since former popular C-actor and singer Zhang Zhe Han was cancelled by C-ent for his allegedly pro-Japanese or liking Japanese leanings. There were more than one circumstance dug up but the biggest was his visit to Yasukuni Shrine, the infamous temple where Japanese army officers who are considered war criminals y by all countries except Japan are enshrined. The picture was of him in front of the shrine during cherry blossom season. His cancellation was swift and almost unanimous among netizens and industry insiders other than his diehard fans. In the past year he’s relaunched his entertainment career overseas as a singer, releasing songs, attending events in other countries, and holding concerts. His most recent concert was in November 2024 in South Korea and he showcased a new anime male lead-esque look. During the concert he called himself a Mainland Chinese person born and raised and he loved his country. He also discussed the alleged visit to Yasukuni Shrine saying he was walking down a path admiring cherry blossoms and stopped to take a picture and never realized he was in front of the shrine. He lamented never being able to explain himself back then. He then sang a song called “Chinese Person” (Zhong Guo Ren), and C-netizens are saying he’s trying to pave the way for a C-ent return but the public doesn’t buy his story because the another issue is if what he says is true then makes him seem uneducated if he genuinely didn’t know he was in front of Yasukuni Shrine when taking the picture and C-netizens hate that as well. Reportedly his overseas career is doing well and he’s raking in the money already.
