C-drama Love Never Fails with Liu Xue Yi and New Female Lead Hu Yi Xuan Replacing Cancelled Actress Yuan Bing Yan Reportedly Will Air Drop End of April 2025
So the release of The Monster Hunter’s Romance and the reportedly on deck of The Prisoner of Beauty are both Song Zu Er dramas, but there are other on the shelf dramas that remain in limbo and some have even completed AI reshoots to replace the canceled star. Case in point Love Never Fails with Liu Xue Yi and Hu Yi Xuan stepping in as the new female lead for Yuan Bing Yan. There is word that the release of shelved dramas means the authorities giving an opening for productions to quietly release and try to recoup some costs so Love Never Fails is reportedly seizing the opportunity and will air drop at the end of April this month. I don’t know how the AI face swap will look with it being a lead character not to mention Liu Xue Yi has had two flop dramas in a row with Kill Me Love Me and A Moment But Forever so it’s not the best timing for him right now. But this will be a good test cast on how good AI face swap technology has improved in C-ent.
So many unexpected airdrops happening a lot sooner than I thought. Should be interesting for sure.
A moment but forever got a lot of attack in the beginning due to the age of FL, makeup of some character…but then the attacker got busy with other drama, people who stay got rewarded and eventually this one broke 8000 index and got douban rating 6.7. So it is not a failure
Some people busy with eternal factor and love to critic…this one have a good story, they also make donghua for this one
A Moment but forever may not have been the hit the actors needed, but it did pretty well despite the circumstances and I agree that it wasn’t a flop. The drama definitely felt dated since it was 2 years ago and with a lower budget (before Tang Yan’s comeback and before LXY getting more recognition). It looked really idol-web-drama cheap in the beginning episodes so I understood why viewers were turned off but it managed to improve the visual quality as the story got better. I also felt like the lead characters were better off portrayed by more mature actors too, which worked out well.
Can’t wait for this drama. I really like both LXY and Hu Yi Xuan.
Many LXY series lately makes me so happy! And I like the new actress choice so cant wait for this.
