iQiyi Assassin and Prince Period Romance C-drama Fated Hearts with Li Qin and Chen Zhe Yuan Release Poster and Preview — 10 Comments

  1. Goodness your take on both actors is spot on. They are so hit and miss but more miss for me. They are not terrible just not good sure shots in choosing dramas.

  2. Li Qin…I might have to give this a miss. I am aware she is popular and she is pretty…I dont dislike her at all, just her acting never touch me.
But I am sure both the lead casts have strong fandom so it will have stable ratings. All the Best.

    • I agree with your comment on Li Quin. I don’t dislike her I’m just not into her acting I honestly feel that she just goes through the motions of what she feels she has to do to get by. There is no emotions in her acting. Having said that I love Chen Zhe Yuan I have enjoyed everything he has done. Hopefully Li Quin will prove me wrong this time.

  3. I hope they would change her character in the drama.. she was so annoying in the novel. I rarely dislike a novel female character but her.

Both actors are… uhn, a hit or a miss. We’ll see.

    • I must agree with you on that. The character was annoying.

But did they change the premise quite a bit? I read halfway and didn’t get into the “amnesia” part. If they are adjusting the novel storyline then it would be far more interesting and I will watch it.

  4. I like both actors even though I wouldn’t call either impressive, but I don’t find the trailer interesting. Good luck to the actors and the production!

  5. “Lots of leading roles but nothing is memorable…” LOL. Isn’t this universal to 99% of Cdrama leading actors? Some of them had one hit and then returned to the screen with dud after dud. Many others are simply irrelevant, going with the flow of cheap and cheesy mass production of made-in-China dramas LOL. That being said, I cut slack on C actors cuz poor scriptwriting and directing/editing are the main culprits to blame. C actors just don’t have good scripts for them to work with and hone their skills. So here we have Yang Mi still playing Fox Spirit Matchmaker years after her breakout from Ten Miles of Peach Blossom while IU already got away from idol cliche and delivered memorable works like My Mister and When Life Gives You Tangerines. LMAO.
