Li Lan Di and Wang An Yu in Talks for Xianxia Comedic Romance C-drama Qian Ye Qi Tan — 11 Comments

  1. Noooooooo. Not HIM! And also, why is she going backwards with her project choices, omgah. She needs to star opposite actually talented actors because she’s actually good. Smh.

    • She isn’t going backwards because this is Tencent S-tier drama so it means her resources are getting better. Her upcoming MLs are Ci Sha, Liu Haoran & she has a guest role in Zhang Rouyun’s spy drama – everyone is excellent actors.

Wang Anyu most probably isn’t doing this since it seems like that A Journey to Glow might actually comes to fruition if Zhao Jinmai confirms.

Based on rumours, there will be some plot changes too. Anyway it is still not confirm if she will take this.

  2. Li Landi has at least three performances that I liked. Wang An Yu’s skills are still undeveloped, but he actually looks good in modern dramas.

  3. I like Li Landi (and loved her in comedies, The Starry Love and Filter) , but haven’t watched anything Wang An Yu’s in.

  4. Loved Li Landi in comedies, The Starry Love and Filter, so this is a nice fit. But haven’t watched anything Wang An Yu’s in.

  5. I tried watching coroner’s diary after all of the hype and could not finish the show. Li lan di looked very pretty but after a while I stopped caring about her character. I did not buy Ao ruipang as this fearsome general at alll and their chemistry was tepid at best. I also Lost interest in the cases which usually doesn’t happen because I like procedural shows a lot.

  6. Ooh yes that one was bad. Bad writing and bad casting on Ao Rupong, he does better in silly roles.

I think these two Wang Ran Yu and Li Landi already worked together awhile ago in that time traveling historical drama. It was okay. I wanted to say both of their acting was rough. But Li Landi has improved a lot since.

If they both do this drama I will try it.i typical try most dramas even if I dont like the casting choices. It drop them quick if it doesn’t keep my attention.

  7. I’ve never watched WAY in a drama and only saw LLD in Coroner’s Diary (which I liked), but there needs to be way more historic comedies. The very serious, dramatic palace intrigue dramas tend to drag on and get boring. My Heroic Husband was fabulous and would love to see more like this.
