Dylan Wang Loses Weibo Followers as Shen Yue Gains in Fallout From the Jokes Towards Dylan on Variety Show The Inn — 17 Comments

  1. He is an abusive man child.

But he needn’t worry. Plenty of women fans will defend their ge ge. So what if he likes to assault people? He will still have a career. They all do.

  2. I don’t think they are friends. Simply colleagues worked well. There’s no sightings of them having lunch or hanging out outside work. I can’t imagine Shen Yue hanging out with him in private smoking and rapping and being flashy lol

    • I dont think they are friends either. Just colleagues who see each other sometimes. Following each other on social media oe taking pics together n talking at a public event doesnt mean they like each other. Alot of these celebs aren’t real friends with each other, they just act like they are friendly for many reasons. Lots of relations are transactional

  3. If I were him, I would feel uncomfortable too.
They made him uncomfortable in front of the TV so why should he discuss it privately?
What did he do to his costars… I watched what Esther Yu gave him attitude and black face to him, LIVE…
His comments were directed at everyone on the show, not just Shen Yue

  4. Indeed, he should have talked to them about it.

But this whole “why speak up now” reminds me of people questioning why a SA or bullying survivor “only remembered it now”.

    • He tried. Watch the last episode (12). They ignored him because they didn’t care and we’re enjoying the joke too much. 5 people who didn’t care.

  5. Now i understand that big fight with his gf, the guy seems like a child man who holds grudges for petty things, now his future castmates will walk on ice shells to not offend him, I doubt he would get cast as many in variety shows now.

    • And again people comment without watching the show just like the author herself. First, Dylan never accused anyone in his post. He wrote about his own feelings and had every right to do so. I’ve been watching the show and from the preview episode they question his role as a leader constantly dissing him. We have a group chat without you is thrown in his face multiple times accompanied by giggles from all of them. He never reacted to that. The award ceremony is a shame towards him. Everybody’s contribution and growth is recognized except his. Where is the connection between “you are just a Wang He Low (not Di)” and “you are actually the best”? It’s a pathetic excuse to whitewash her own stupid act, but people don’t need critical thinking if it confirms what they want to believe and suddenly the victim of gaslighting becomes the target of hate. People, are you normal? Why didn’t Dylan raise this issue during the show? Again. Nobody who asks this question watched the episode. He asked them like twice or three times “Why do you call me that?” They completely ignored him. All of them! You are not in our groups joke continued even during the live stream to promote the show. He worked so hard, but his thoughless colleagues never acknowledged his work. Don’t persuade us that we are not intelligent enough to fully comprehend the greatness of the compliment “We he a group chat without you. You are just a Wang He Low. Can we do without you? Ha, ha!” Even official news sources condemn jokes that cross boundaries. But, hey. It’s Wang He Di. Who cares? It’s easy to hate him. Now fans of other actors, would you be ok if such awards are given to your favorite actor?

    • This is what is happening. Instead of discussing the issue of iterpersonal and professional relationships, people rush to accuse the actor on a personal level of god knows what. Assumptions about his girlfriend, their arguments and causes of the arguments are based on what? Fantasy. The thing is that you can’t act disrespectfully towards people when their actions did not deserve that, but only because you don’t like them.

  7. Naw man, things said in public should be addressed in public. The expectation of talking to them in private is only legit…if they had made of him in private but they didn’t…

  8. This has gone completely away from the initial issue of him taking offense with the jokes on The Inn. The reason this blew up is because his past words and actions are now brought up and he’s come out looking like a major hypocrite. Videos of him pulling violently on Shen Yue’s hoody, throwing a ball at Shen Yue, kicking a shoe off and hitting a costar in the head on the beach, hip checking Esther Yu making her fall, tripping people multiple times, violently pulling off a hat on a guest and saying really rude things as “jokes” are floating all over chinese social media now. Search his name on billibilli and there are tons of compilations.
