K-actors Lee Jun Young and Kwak Dong Yeon to Enlist for Military Service Summer 2026
I swear that both these guys already did their military service already, alas that was just my mind playing tricks on me. This summer of 2026 will see two talented K-actors take their acting hiatus for their mandatory enlistment in the Korean military. First is Lee Jun Young who actually shaved his list and enlisted already earlier this week on July 21st. Then comes Kwak Dong Yeon who is following next month on August 25th. Both actors are 29 years old, making then 30 in Korean age and really at the very tail end of their enlistment period. It’s good both are leaving on a strong note career wise, Lee Jun Young’s Reborn Rookie did solid in viewership with strong reviews and he has the drama Four Hands, Two Sonatas coming out next month opposite Song Kang, and Kwak Dong Yeon can be seen most recently with last week’s Netflix release of supernatural thriller K-drama The East Palace which is topping Netflix charts. Best yet both actors got rave reviews for their respective performances.
I’ll miss them. I love them. I hope kwak dong Yeon comes back with better luck in getting main lead roles.
