  2. So happy that Baeksang really waits for him. And his discharged yesterday makes me realize how much loved bogum is. Most kdrama stans are actually fond of him. As for me, some of you must already sensed that I’m his fans. Ms Koala is right, pbg might not work for everyone. And that’s fine, since people have different tastes and opinions. I actually fall in love for his acting. Because he pays attention to details, to the way his character speaks, dresses, even walked. And that’s a meticulous work and only a dedicated person could do it. His warm personality is a big bonus. Have you read his letter for his fans? It’s so warm like the sun of spring and you can feel his sincerity. Okay let’s not make this comment longer than it already is. I pray for him to have a bright future ahead. Definitely anticipating his Baeksang mcing and of course his next next drama/movie.

  3. It’s not a surprise he was chosen as the host, as he’s been hosting along with Suzy and Shin Don Yup since 2018 and Baeksang didn’t replace him last year. Suzy even mentioned in her speech that they will be waiting for him.

I missed him so much and I am looking forward to his first post military project, I hope he chooses wisely.

  4. Just wondering to myself what would have happened if he pushed through with the role of Kang Tae Moo on A Business Proposal him enlisting and all. What if?

  5. He was a model for Kakao and did a cf for kakao webtoons on of which was Business Proposal. He was never planning on playing Lang Taemu in a drama, and never got mentioned when the news about the casting broke. Someone started a rumour and now everyone believes it to be true.

  6. Welcome back bogummy.. My ever beloved kactor. My admiration and Respect for you is so huge that no one ever can change my heart and mind. Fir me, you are the best.. Happy and excited to hear good news about you.. Fighting 💪💪

  8. I’m not a fan of him, and I definitely get that “manufactured” vibe from him (if some smart-ass is going to reply to me that everyone in k-ent is “manufactured”, well, no sh*t, Sherlock, I know everyone is, but he has a higher level of manufactured/packaged vibe to him compared to other actors, that’s what I mean).

Even so, I’ll take him any day of the week over the current crop of rising young actors who either can’t act or have no charisma/screen presence at all. Someone commented on a recent article that the female rookies nowadays are interchangeable, and I think that’s applicable to the rookie male actors too, only Lee Do Hyun and Jo Byeong Gyu (before his scandal) stands out to me. At least Park Bo Gum can act, is charming/charismatic, and has loads of it factor/star appeal that’s sorely missing in other rising young actors today. Nice to see him back, will surely bring in lots of a-list glamour to baeksang and k-ent

  9. For his comeback, I hope PBG chooses an action-packed gritty storyline with a dash of romcom where he plays an anti-hero/hero character for a change. Record of Youth was a disappointing send-off. I hope he grows out his hair for the role.

  10. Can’t wait for his comeback. Wish he’d pick a dark/grey character for his comeback project. He has the range so he should make full use of it. Post military will give him the benefit if he plays the anti-hero.

  11. Oh my Bogummy welcome back! Hope he enjoys the hosting in Baeksang Arts Awards and it will be very successful and his succeeding projects.
