Yoo Ah In Reportedly Tests Positive for 3rd Drug and Took Propofol 73 Times During the Year in 2021 Averaging 6 times a Month

I’m sorry but the drug use story around Yoo Ah In continues to get worse and it’s both shocking and heartbreaking as someone who watched him go from a young promising rookie over ten years ago to an A-list movie star. K-ent is reporting that the punishment for Yoo Ah In is likely going to be severe due to the continued escalation of factors. He’s revealed to have tested positive for a 3rd drug on top of propofol and marijuana it’s really hard to not accept that he has a serious and widespread drug problem. Today there is more news about the specifics of his propofol use – it was apparently 73 times he was injected over the course of nearly one year from early Jan 2021 to mid-Dec 2021 which averages to 6 times a month. It is around 4400 milliliters which is 4.4 liters which is 1.1 galloons and just think of I galloon of milk in the supermarket for volume comparison. THAT IS INSANE. K-ent is also comparing his use to Ha Jung Woo‘s misuse of propofol which was 19 times over a 9 month period, but for that Ha Jung Woo was fined money and given a slap on the wrist. Park Shi Yeon was also caught abusing propofol and was given 8 months in jail but a suspended sentence and fined. And for those who don’t know still what propofol is, it’s a surgical use injected anesthetic and it was the drug that killed Michael Jackson who could not sleep and in later years of his life used it as a strong sleep aid.

  1. He may be seeking relief from anxiety, insomnia, or other mental health issues that make sleeping difficult after long periods of stress and pressure. Propofol is probably the only option after other antianxiety like Xanax or antidepressants etc no longer work.

she may have major depression and seriously need to be put on suicide watch… poor him —

    • Antidepressants , antianxiety like Xanax, Valium, … there are so many of them . Sometimes it takes One year to feel the effects . A psychiatrist and neurologist are needed too , to help to find the right dosage . It takes time and the will to get better . Sometimes you have to change a lot of things in your life like job, work, surroundings ,… It’s hard and it eats a lot of your energy but at the end you reach a kind of balance . Using drugs is the fastest and the easier way to get rid of the darkness of depression during a laps of time . I never took drugs, or drunk but i’m under medication since years so i know what i felt back then . I even don’t wish that to my worst ennemy , which i don’t have !

    • A wonderful talent and obviously troubled, as many are. May he get help, support, and not be treated like a villain. The doctors who prescribe and supply are the villains.

    • I have to agree. It may seem like the worst of the worst to us but we never know what he’s going through. Depression is real and poor mental health in the entertainment industry is prevalent. This is probably the only way he could feel like himself, which is pretty sad.

  2. I got no issue with taking weed or hallucinogens, but propofol is a different league. It’s medical grade stuff. Doctors use propofol to put you under for surgery. It’s STRONG. I took it for surgery and I was out cold in less than 3 seconds. I dunno how this dude is using it 75 TIMES. This stuff is so strong that if he’s abusing it like this it has already altered his brain.

  3. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. He deserves to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Set an example to other users.

    • Wow, your empathy is overflowing. He clearly has an issue, depression and mental.health issues are no joke. People will do ANYTHING to nor fall into the pit. People like you are just reinforcing stereotypes and stigma. I hope he receives all the medical assistance necessary to try and overcome his mental health issues.

    • 💯 agree. I hope he just doesn’t get a fine and slap on the wrist. It will only encourage him to continue doing drugs and the next big headline will be him dead from overdose.

      • or dead from suicide because he didn’t received adequate help, but been called out by people like you and @Bern

  5. Great comparison to milk! Am an RN and use this drug at work daily and we actually do call it milk and it looks like milk. This is a very dangerous drug when misuse. Hope he can get the help he needs.
