Last month September was all about fashion weeks in Paris and Milan during fall shows and plenty of Chinese and Korean stars were in attendance whether as paid guests or as invited fans. This week gossip came out that former costars Song Yi and Bai Jing Ting from the drama Destined who have been rumored to be dating in real life for the past year were spotted together in Paris. Netizens saw them dining together and with their parents no less, both sets of parents. The melon is that this low key cutie pie couple continues to date happily, are headed towards marriage but no rush and not anytime soon, and generally are just living their best personal lives while continuing to get lead role offers so this dating rumor has not affected their marketability. I am SOOOOO happy to hear this and I hope this trend continues in C-ent.
I glad for them, they r very lucky, considering the type of entertainment industry they r in. All they r just not popular enough to cause fans to react n influence their careers.

I just started rewatching Destined. Both are just so cute together…
I got the same vibe from this pair as Zhang Ruoyun couple. Both pairs are considered pretty couples with solid acting but they are all boring to me on screen. I kept seeing the same actors themselves not the characters instead throughout all their dramas regardless of genres and different personalities in totally different storylines. LOL

Don’t get butthurt! There’re quite a few actor whose dramas I’ll be interested to check out, e.g., Dylan Wang, Arthur Chen, and Zhang Linghe, to just name a few. There’re also quite a few actors whose dramas are big NO NO to me, e.g., Leo Luo, Cheng Yi, and Wang Yibo, besides the two actors mentioned in my prior comments. The reason? I’ve already stated obviously! LOL

I’m rewatching New Life after Destined, and I still find BJT performance in New Life much better than in Destined. I keep thinking that he couldn’t bring much fresh perspective because he was doing both similar dramas back-to-back, but on the other hand I’m so glad he found his love on Destined. Both are so cute and well matched, hope they enjoy and go all the way !
BJT isn’t your typical pretty boy, but I think he’s a solid actor. He was great in Reset and I enjoyed him in New Life Begins. Destined started out okay for me, but agreed with above comment that he played it kind of similar to A New Life Begins. Destined lost me mid-way, and I dropped the drama after they moved to a new city.
