The current Louis Vuitton menswear creative designer Pharrell Williams may be my least fave in how he interprets the evolves the brand but he’s certainly popular. I’m forever at Marc Jacobs fangirl and Virgil Abloh left the world too early for his genius. This week was the LV Menswear show in Paris and in attendance was top K-actor Gong Yoo who went head to toe LV to mixed results. I loathe the new intentional slouchy Speedy shape and his jeans have legs that need to be tailored, but the top is very Parisian homme chic and he pulls it off with the je ne said quoi star appeal that ultimately wears the clothes rather than let the clothes wear him.

  2. Top half great, bottom half not so much. I love him though and yes, he can definitely pull this off

  3. I really like the top half of his look but the jeans are ugly especially with those shoes but overall he looks good.

    GY’s attendance makes me wonder if he will be announced as a new House Ambassador for LV. I think if they want a top Korean actor then Gong Yoo fits LV much better than Song Joong Ki. SJK is a mismatch for the brand and looks ridiculous in their clothes. He is too short and slight and he obviously isn’t a fashionista so the clothes always wear him rather than him wearing the clothes.

  5. Gong Yoo is aging like fine wine. That type of bottoms only look good on certain actors and he manages to rock it but not my fav look.

  6. Love Gong Yoo and cant wait for him to be back on kdrama. I dont like the space drama on Netflix, sadly.

  7. I never was a fan of fashion for men , for me nothing compares a well tailored suit or tuxedo . It doesn’t fit a man of his age . I don’t see a french vibe either . French actors are more into a casual look . But he is there for the show, he has to play the game .
