First Posters and Stills for tvN Weekend Modern Romance Drama Our Unwritten Seoul with Park Bo Young and Jinyoung
The weekend time slot for cable network tvN was much buzzier in the beginning of the year when When the Stars Gossip (Ask the Stars) premiered, though most of that was generated by befuddlement and negative criticism for how wildly awful it was lol. But buzz is still buzz and after that drama it’s been a series of mid K-dramas that hasn’t generated any excitement in any good or bad way. There was The Potato Lab and now the just started Resident Playbook, the latter was expected to be a hit coming from the same universe as Hospital Playlist but so far hasn’t broken out yet. Next for tvN will modern romance Our Unwritten Seoul with Park Bo Young and Jinyoung (Park Jin Young) airng in May 2025. Park Bo Young will pull double duty as polar opposite twins, the wild and unconventional one and the perfectionist and buttoned up one. The drama is from the writer of Youth of May and coincidentally directed by the PD of When the Stars Gossip.

That is just it usually dramas where an actress or actor plays twins or doppelgängers usually don’t do as well as expected no matter what country does so… it is not an easy feat. Hopefully it works out.
PBY has played two opposite characters, half ‘herself’ and half possessed by a ghost, before and did it well.
PBY hasn’t been able to pique my interest since A Werewolf Boy and Strong Girl Bong-soon although I liked her a lot in these two works. It’s been a long while. She seemed to pair with uninteresting actors in most of her dramas lately, perhaps this one included. PJY doesn’t have a lot in his acting resume to talk about. Wiki is all about his music experience as a Got7 idol. Can he act?
Last time when I checked Melo Movie, I chugged along with a few eps like little train that could LOL and then came to a full stop with a huge sigh of relief cuz the story was hella boring, and so was the ML. I couldn’t proceed beyond ep 1 of Abyss despite I like both Bo-young and Ahn Hyo-Seop. Perhaps I should give Light Shop a good shot cuz of some rave reviews online. But I’m not that fond of the ML of Light Shop that somehow hinders me from clicking on the drama link.
PBY is somehow like Kim So-hyun to me. Both ladies are adorable on screen and can act. Nonetheless there’s something missing in their recent works that lose much appeal to me. I still checked most of their works. Most of them just haven’t worked out well for me recently.
I think park boyoung best work recently is daily dose of sunshine.
Melo movie characterization is not the best, not just pby character, I think all the character there seemed flat except kim jaewook’s. The second couple has a nice chemistry but their plot felt a little bit flat. While pby and cws don’t even have any chemistry for me
Don’t know about pjy, I’ve only seen him in devil judge and his character is so annoying, so I don’t like him that much
