Wang Xing Yue and Deng En Xi Cast for Modern Romance C-drama Confession with Filming to Start Next Month January 2026
It’s wild that I’m typing out next month as January 2026 already, another year’s flown right by. It’s been a mixed bag in drama land for me this year but I’m always keeping my hopes for as I hear about promising future dramas on deck. A new C-drama was supposed to have kicked off filming this month in December 2025 but will still start filming soon just a month delay into next month January 2026. It’s a modern romance C-drama titled Confession (告白 Gao Bai) and will star Wang Xing Yue with Deng En Xi. This drama was initially slated for Chen Fei Yu but the production ended up going with Wang Xing Yue, and IMO the two actors would deliver such wholly different interpretations and vibes for the male lead lol. Wang Xing Yue keeps getting rumored for a ton of dramas but this one will be his first filmed in this coming new year and I also expect he’s rolling into more dramas after this is wrapped.

Better not something like Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. lol. WXY looked way older than he actually was in AASOL. The drama was also unbelievably boring. For modern romance, they’d better find a Taiwanese director to take the helm. Taiwanese directors know how to trigger fantasy to the maximum. LOL. Love 020 and Hidden Love are two examples.
He is on a roll with being casted these days. I feel like every other day he is being casted in projects. Sounds like he will be getting more and more busy.
Never heard of the fl but she’s pretty judging from the pictures.
Looking forward to this. I was hoping he’d get a modern romance drama. But on the subject of his dramas, I completely stopped thinking about Shadow Detective ever seeing the light of day and out of nowhere it FINALLY premiered. I’m enjoying it so far, and am happy to see Wu Jia Yi in a drama again. She should have lead roles thrown at her left and right after her scene stealing performance in Arsneal Military Academy. Repbulican Era dramas suit these two way too well.
