C-ent Casting Rumor has Song Wei Long Joining Zhao Lu Si in Big Budget Youku Period C-drama Inverted Fate
It’s no surprise that the success of Shine on Me is already seeing cascading changes in C-ent casting carousel. This week the rumor is that Song Wei Long will be the male lead for Youku period C-drama Inverted Fate, which has been penciled in for Zhao Lu Si as her high profile comeback drama since her filming hiatus last year. In recent weeks the soft rumor was that the male lead was going to be Yang Xu Wen, but with SoM being buzzy this past month the production has turned to Song Wei Long. I much prefer Song Wei Long over Yang Xu Wen IMO but this is definitely a big female lead project so I hope the script is buttoned down so the leads are stuck with just generating heat for a weak story.
