It’s clear that The Lament of Autumn is doing well enough if Xu Ruo Han is immediately getting a new script sent her away. I’m actually enjoying TLoA for being the stupid as bricks romance novel level popcorn entertainment it is and find Xu Ruo Han’s bunny teeth either less annoying or I’ve simply gotten used to it because she’s fine, not to mention Cheng Lei is hard carrying the entire drama on his back. But back to Xu Ruo Han, since she’s not as weird to watch onscreen anymore for me I’m fine with the news that she’s in talks opposite Dylan Wang in the upcoming iQiyi suspense and romance drama Love Knows No Walls (Xue Li Zhen 雪粒镇). The story is about a pair of step-siblings (no blood relation) and a murder in the family then they have to navigate the aftermath through anger and then solace, and it sounds like a them against the world situation. And of course, there is love in a classic fauxcest drama way. If both sign on the drama starts filming in December 2026 so by year end.
