Arang and the Magistrate continues to marinate in the awesomesauce. The newly released stills of the second leads are as fantastic as the ones for Lee Jun Ki and Shin Mina. Colorful and animated without turning cartoonish, these stills give off the fantasy sageuk vibe that the drama is aiming for. Yeon Woo Jin plays a villainous government official and Lee Jun Ki’s opponent at every turn. Luckily my Jun Ki is aided by his trusty manservant played by Kwang Oh Joong, a simple-minded and intensely loyal and hearty feller. I love him already. Rounding out the main cast will be Hwang Bora as Mina’s shaman confidante who may be conning a career in dealing with spirits until she runs into the real thing in Arang. Knowing this is just around the bend does ease my increasing sorrow at the ending of Big.
Yeon Woo Jin!!! Love him in OB and watched Ordinary Love for him, but that is only 4 eps. Why on earth is he mostly on very looooong series or very shooort one? Now he’s in this, I will surely check this thing out!

And Yeon Woo Jin, I am prematurely considering maybe perhaps adoring him because he is adorable. I don’t think it’ll come to MINE-ing, but there is a distinct possiblity…
