The timing is probably as good as it gets to dust an shelved movie off and recoup some investment by releasing it. News today revealed that the romance weepy Korean-Chinese collaboration movie After Love with Yoon Eun Hye and Park Shi Hoo, filmed all the way back in 2014, will be released at the end of the month in April 2018. I don’t expect a lot of publicity to promote the movie but it’s good enough that Park Shi Hoo’s career has done a 180 since he filmed the movie – back then he was still coming back from the rape allegation scandal and now he has the hit weekend drama My Golden Life under his belt and more drama offers on his plate. Conversely Yoon Eun Hye had just finished the crappy Marry Me If You Dare back then and now she’s four years without an acting project on her resume. I doubt this movie will make any waves but at least it’s finally seeing the light of day. Continue reading
