Seeing this latest pictorial of Kim Tae Hee looking gloriously pretty for InStyle Korea reminded me of how long it’s been since I watched her onscreen and led to me rewatching the good bits of Jang Ok Jung, Live in Love. That drama fell apart in epic fashion exactly from the midway point onward, but the first half was glorious romantic sageuk goodness I can still feel when I close my eyes. She was so primed to fail in her first headlining sageuk yet rose to the occasion beautifully, not the most nuanced or impressive acting display but she more than made up for it with heart and soul. There were rumors she was doing a drama this year which got her name understandably rumored for Kim Eun Sook‘s Descendants of the Sun when it was still casting. I would love for her to do another bright and bubbly rom-com like My Princess, forever one of those dramas that may be narratively silly but left a sweet taste in my memory.

  2. Wow those dresses are breathtaking! And so is she. She reminds me of someone though…especially in the second picture, but I can’t put my finger on it.

      • Hmm I don’t really know who that is, I assume she’s an idol. Let’s check google…damn they do look alike, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her before..or have I? Ughh I’m confused. They’re both very pretty anyway.

    • Maybe she reminds u if kang sora, kang sora sometimes looks like her and sometimes doesnt lol

  3. She’s always been the most beautiful Korean actress for me. She doesn’t have to be a great actress, lest that would have made her perfect. An average yet beautiful actress, still makes her one of the top three A lister of her generation.

  4. Is it possible to have kim tae hee, song hye kyo and jeon ji hyun in one project? Can’t see any pictures where the 3 of them are in the same event.

    • Maybe a movie with a HUGE budget. Otherwise, not a chance. Oh wait, even with a big budget I highly doubt any of them will star alongside the others since they’ll probably be afraid the others will steal their spotlight. They are celebs after all. They have to think like one.
