I don’t recall a case where such a high profile celebrity couple confirmed their relationship and then made public appearances so soon thereafter. Timing really is everything, as Song Seung Heon and Crystal Liu went public last week after a C-tabloid published an article outing their relationship, which developed during and after they filmed the C-movie The Third Way of Love. The two were already scheduled to make an appearance on a Chinese variety show this week to promote the movie so all eyes were on their first public couples outing together.
They didn’t disappoint, looking gloriously pretty on stage together and throwing enough bling bling romantic hearts around to blind everyone. Song Seung Heon said that he wasn’t a greedy guy but meeting Crystal made me him want more, and he ended with a public “I love you” to his girlfriend. The couple were slated to attend the official movie premiere press conference two days later but the celebration was cancelled since it was the day after the devastating explosion in the Chinese city of Tianjin, so the two wore somber black and used the event as a prayer and healing moment for those affected by the tragedy.
