Pink Suit Clad Lee Jong Seok Gets Measured for His Madame Tussauds Wax Figure

It’s time for Lee Jong Seok to check off another box in his Hallyu rise to fame – the boy is getting his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds. There are multiple Madame Tussauds around the world and Lee Jong Seok’s wax figure will be on display in the Hong Kong location. He’s obviously not the first Korean star to get a Tussauds wax figure, nor is he the first among his generation of actors as Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Min Ho already got immortalized in wax.

I honestly think it’s a dubious honor, sure it speaks to one’s popularity but the end results almost always look creepy and unintentionally hilarious. Lee Jong Seok gamely attended the official measuring event where every inch is cataloged to make the most realistic approximation possible. All I can see is his electric pink shiny pimp suit. Dear boy, did your coordi take the day off or are you responsible for this sartorial abomination?

There’s always something sinister in a wax figure. I honestly think that getting it made is the opposite of being ‘immortalized’ 🙁
