Quiet and Subtle Romance Begins in First Teaser for Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food
Leave it to PD Ahn Pan Seok to immediately remind me why I adore his directorial hand in dramas. The first teaser for jTBC romance drama Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food softly exudes a lovely mood, at times hesitant but still very palpable. It also brings back everything positive about the noona-dongsaeng romance sub-genre, when Jung Hae In calls Son Ye Jin “noona” in the just release first teaser I got butterflies in my stomach. He’s got that combination of sweet and sexy that’s perfect to play the younger man who believably can get an older woman to fall in love with him back.
First teaser for Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food:
Jung Hae In is such a good looking cutie. Even if I don’t like noona-dongsaeng dramas, he is one of them that can change my mind.
Him being all giddy, want to hold her but can’t, so adorable!
Oh my God, he’s sooo cute 😀
They look good together 🙂
I hope this turns out be something like long vacation turned out in Japan in the 90’s. I really hope it turns out to be a super hit with very good ratings.
Son Ye Jin is so gorgeous , who wouldn’t fall in love with her. Watched her in Open City and most of her older drama.
Ugh. Age unappropriate ajhumma romance.
In Radio Romance we have a 17 yrs old girl (6/99) opposite a 27yrs old man (7/89). And in their roles they are supposed to be almost the same age.
Is that really better? Or did you leave an ‘unappropriate’ comment there too? Because that one truly is.
What a pair !
Looking forward to this drama.?
Hahaha that childish comment made me laugh quite hard. The actress is 36 and the actor is 30. And gorgeous SYJ is called an ahjumma?
We are getting barely legal aged actress against older actors. Or almost 20 years age gap OTP.
And those 2 are inappropriate? Hahaha.
My apologies. I thought the rule was that if the older actor is middle aged and more than years older than the younger, it is inappropriate. But I realize now we only hate it if it’s an older male actor.
???
Are you comparing 20 years age gap and 6 years old gap?
It would be different story if the actor is 16-18 yo and the actress is 36-40 yo, i am sure lots of people will think it is inappropriate.
But 30 yo and 36???? Really??

not quite sure where you get your idea that 36 is middle aged. And since wehn is a 6 ear age difference inappropriate when we’re talking about 30 year olds?
36 is not middle aged. Unless you want to insult a whole slewof females.
Besides 36 and 30 are both adults well past 21. Who should know by then what kind of relationship they are after. Not a college aged kid or campus couple just starting out in life.
Crikey. How old are the commenters here if 36 is ahjumma level or middle aged?
Man… I thought I can’t post my comment so I tried to change my name, but it turned out my first comment is being posted after all. How to delete it?? D’:
@Ck1Oz, LOL, I wouldn’t take 36 years old as middle aged as a genuine comment. There are plenty of noona-dongsaeng romances and even marriages IRL. 6 years difference is nothing. Let’s see a Kdrama tackle an age difference similar to the French president and his wife then let us see the comments section!
Oh yeah man that is a doozy. I still can’t believe it.
But thwn we have a current idiot in my country now who thought he could still be a deputy PM. When he is living with his pregnant ex-staffer whom he had an affair with. While still married to his wife when they have 4 kids still at home.
Real life is more bizzare than drama land.
Love that song “Stand By Your Man”.
