Kim Jung Hyun Cast in Romance Drama Crash Landed Love with Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin
I still don’t know what happened with his health last year but I’m glad to hear that young actor Kim Jung Hyun is making a comeback. He very publicly dropped out of a still airing drama Time last year citing health reasons, and I don’t know if he was openly miserable at the drama’s press conference because of said health problems or the netizen anger at his supposed bad attitude at the press conference later led to his health issues. That’s all in the past now as Kim Jung Hyun has been cast in the upcoming tvN North-South Korean romance Crash Landed Love (Love’s Crash Landing) with Son Ye Jin as a South Korean heiress and Hyun Bin as a North Korean officer. Kim Jung Hyun will be playing a rich guy that gets embroiled in all this North-South crash landed shenanigans. The drama is scheduled to air in fall of 2019.
He was suffering from depression. He couldn’t detach himself from the character he was playing in the drama. All in all he was messed up from inside and hate comments from netizen added salt to the injury.
Glad to know that he’s back. I liked him a lot in Time, and was sad to hear that he was leaving due to health problems.
I’m not a fan of him. I didn’t really like how he acted in School 2017 and Laughter in Waikiki, he looked really awkward in the humorous scenes.
I think he didnt suit comedy much. But he was awesome in Time.
Welcome back. I felt so sorry for what he was going through. I love his acting and I especially loved him in time.
Agree, I was not fun of HIM but HE is indeed a good actor, his acting were superb. Great HIS back now. Keep it up!
Hearing and reading about the depression and suicides in Korea, I really think this actor took the correct route to heal himself first before it got out of hand. In that old picture he looks physically sick so I can only imagine what was going on inside. The current picture, he looks much better. I’m glad that he took the time off that he needed, nothing is as important as your mental health. Props to him!
I agree! I’m glad he took time off. I love him as an actor.
