Script Reading with Lee Joon Hyuk and Nam Ji Hyun for MBC Drama 365: A Year of Defying Fate

I’m super excited for this new drama and it’s definitely less than 365 days away. Script reading and filming has kicked off for MBC time-travel thriller 365: A Year of Defying Fate. Starring Lee Joon Hyuk and Nam Ji Hyun, the two are among a group of 10 individuals given the chance to go back exactly one year prior in time to change their fates. It’s not as simple as that, of course, and the price to be paid is the 10 get involved in mysterious cases. I love the two leads and add to it a strong supporting cast of Yang Dong Gun, Kim Ji Soo, Lee Shi Ah, and Yoo Joo Sang, the fun concept makes for a different drama to look forward to. The production will be from the PD of Ruler: Master of the Mask and Lucky Romance adapted from a novel of the same name with two rookie screenwriters attached.

  • She has built a successful career and 100 days my prince was a massive hit. So i hope it works for her. I liked her in suspicious partner as well

    • 100 DMP was a massive hit because of D.O. Too bad SM doesn't know how to capitalize on his success as an actor when has strong/big Asia fanbase. With EXO name and his talent, he could be leading 90s gen actors.

      • It is both her and do's success. Do is great actor and one of those idols who can act. He deserves success. He will have a great acting career when he comes back. Technically exo members dont even care anymore for group. And he will be 27 or 28 when he comes back. Still so young So he did right by going army early. Because he had already made millions from music and cfs. Now he will have his second journey as top actor.

      • If u dont like to see your fave getting discredit, you shouldnt discredit other actresses too from 90s gen. It is her success equally.

      • Don't pretend to be righteous now when you've discredited many top actors in favor of your fave Lee Min Ho lol. At least I don't pretend to be holier than thou.

      • I gave them credit when it was due. It was a comeback to them who disrespected lmh. And i also said i shouldnt have done that unlike u who said all 90s actresses are over and your fave is untouchable. Difference lmao. I atleast own my faults!

      • All they said is that his acting is not up to par with other top actors listed and most of his "hallyu" fame came from late 2000s, not last decade. It's their opinion on his work, not him as a person, so what disrespect? I don't "own up to faults" or whatever because I will speak my mind and anyone here is free to call me hater, delusional, or whatever. It's their right. I'm not pretending to be righteous unlike you who discredits others who aren't LMH but pretends to be unbiased lol.

    • hope this will get good viewership. ive been waiting for Nam ji hyun to appear in a drama since 2018. she did not do any drama in 2019 except for the cameo role with DO.

  • Yeah Nam Ji Hyun! I really like her. I couldn't finish 100 Days My Prince, so I hope this time I will like the story :)

For Lee Joon Hyuk, I hope this time we will be able to see his character and won't be buried under a building or tortured during all the show...

    • excited for this Drama. hope this is a good project. been waiting for nam ji hyuns drama. we hope that this drama will receive lots of love from viewers.

  • @marie u r the one to talk about acting when u stan suzyy and lol hirl i praise them a lot. Yeah i just pointed out the facts and how he topped south korean govt poll of halkyu stars while being in srmy. Ur favr wasnt even mentioned. She is that local
And u discredit ever 90s gen actresses who stomp over your fave. So u should be last to talk. Hypocrite marie alert

    • i liked her the most ( Nam ji jyun) in SKL. she looked so cute and innocent in that drama. Her chemistry with her ML was good. actually i want her to work again with SIG.
ive been following Nam ji hyun in IG and she seems to be a kind and humble person thats why i have a soft spot for her. I do hope and pray that 2020 is a better year for her. i wish her all the best.

      • Absolutely agree with you 100% @lev. My all-time fave pair Bok Shil and Louis. I want her to work with SIG again, maybe in a different genre. These two are like Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk. Nam Ji Hyun is born in the year of the wood pig, that's why she is gentle, kind, compassionate, easy to get along with. Whoever marries her will be the luckiest guy. This is from my perspective and experience of an ajumma who seldom match-makes people but once I see a potential great couple, I totally want to sail their boat. Lol.

  • I love Nam Ji Hyun to bits. First saw her in What Happened To My Family when I switched on the hotel's TV while on vacation overseas. Like Shopping King Louis, I fell in love with NJH instantly when she appeared on the TV screen, lol. Since then, I have been loyally following her in every drama. She is the chemistry queen after PMY. Every male lead she co-stars with, she hits the right note. From Park Hyung Sik, Seo In Guk, Ji Chang Wook to Do Kyung Soo, she elevated her male lead's acting and make the drama super cute, heartfelt, buzzing with depth and warmth. Totally into her.

    • I love Nam Ji Hyun the best in Shopping King Louis. The ajumma in me naturally looks at her birth year to understand why she seems to have amazing chemistry with my babies Gukkie and Wookie. Turns out she was born in the year of the pig who is a great match for male rabbits. No wonder their natural affinity shows on the screen which translates into an OTP that is filled with kindness, tenderness and such sweet harmony. I seldom ship a OTP this hard but Bok Shil and Louis is my all-time favourite couple. I stopped short of giving Shopping King Louis a perfect 10. The only reason being Gukkie didn't participate in an OST for that drama. Otherwise, it's "perfect" to quote Loui's favourite word.

  • Love her to bits and have been faithfully following her career, I've loved her in every drama she's starred in. I'm proud of her accomplishments and she does have chemistry with each of her costars, so much so that she elevates the performances of her male lead actors. To all detractors I have said this before, and I'll say it again, D.O. would not have been able to shine so much in 100 Days my Prince if Nam Ji Hyun did not do the heavy lifting in her role, so let's give credit where credit is due. I forsee a bright future ahead for her. Hope she keeps choosing interesting roles.

  • Update: According to MBC IG post, 365 a year of defying fate will premiere on March 23, 2020 at 8:55 pm. Monday and tuesday slot. for 24 eisodes only. ive seen the 1st teaser and it looks promising. i just hope that even it is a mystery drama it would still be entertaining to watch. Good luck NJJ and LJH and team. hope the viewers will love and suort your series.
