Another 1% Rise in Ratings for Forecasting Love and Weather as Episode 4 Gets 7.849% and Twenty Five, Twenty Continues to Inch Up to 8.787% — 22 Comments

  1. PMY nailed this character. FLAW was not on my radar eventhough PMY is my biased. Now I’m addicted to it. The writing, directing, chemistry is superb for office romcom drama. Saturday please come faster.

    • I have renewed respect for meteorologists and their work after watching this drama. Goodness – the literal amount of money burned if a wrong alert is dispensed and terrible damage caused when its overlooked really gives weight to the job of these people. Romance storyline aside, I feel like I’m being schooled in geography, geology, and meteorology at the same time.

      • Exactly! This is also a reason why i am enjoying this drama. We can see how these people observing and giving weather reports /advises are really necessary because one mistake in thwir announcement or advisory surely many accidents will occur. Five thumbs up for this inclusion in this drama. My level of respect to them gwta increases ans to the writer for being so resourceful – Yoo Young Ah.

  2. General the FLW has an interesting plot hence its rating is rising. The OTP has good chemistry plus the things happening in KMA is also a bonus although in a drama there will always be an overdone situations. Yeah it is a clean drama and I enjoy watching it.

  3. I’m loving pmy here more than in her previous office dramas. Her typecasting was one of the reason why many scratched this drama but now I’m seeing hot articles praising her natural acting and good diction. It’s a nice and comfortable to watch drama. I love the fl family dynamic and the workplace dynamic and who would have thought? I love the main couple too.

  4. Me likes it, too. A simple romance between 2 people – both being cheated – both smart, blended with an interesting background as meteorologists. PMY is a refined actress and SK, well looks like he is not a just a gorgeous looking guy but a versatile actor

  5. I’ve watched both, and prefer 25-21.

FLW reminds me of Search Www. I fast forwarded many scenes. Probably bcuz noona dongsaeng isn’t really my cup of tea. Nevertheless, will continue watching it.

While 25 21, Kim Taeri proved that she’s one of the best actresses in her generation. NJH is not bad. But not that good either. 25 21 has every element that i like.

    • I prefer 25-21 too. It has so much heart. FLAW is fine but the romance leaves me cold. I like PMY in it but Song Kang not so much. Maybe I’m on Song Kang overload after so many dramas last year, but he’s almost unwatchable for me at this point.

      • This explains so much re the mature nuances and the really good story telling re friends into lovers. I am realllllly enjoying 25-21 – it’s touching and funnier than I anticipated. The chemistry between leads is developing well – I feel it.

  6. After 4 episodes, I’m leaning more towards 25, 21.

The interesting part in romance is the building up of the romance but for Forecasting Love, they had a one night stand at the end of episode 2, dating at the end of episode 3, so no progressing, flirting etc. I don’t buy their sudden feelings for each other.

  7. I am glad that both dramas are doing well but as someone who still thinks Song Kang can’t act and has no charisma, I kind of hate that this will cement his “It boy” status.

  8. I chose FLAW first now, and like you maybe I will pick up 2521 later – i think when the fl is an adult. It’s still doesn’t sit right with me the relationship process – even no romance yet, but we know it will go there someday, has started when she is still a minor and everybody passed on this because of biased opinions and because they love Kim Tae ri. But everyone heavily critised Young Lady and Gentleman just for one small encounter between the male lead who was an adult and the minor female lead. Same goes to Backstreet Rookie. In both drama the male leads and the actors themselves were also harshly criticised. If this is not being biased and hypocrisy, then what it is?

FLAW is not flawless yet the actors blended so naturally to the stories and characters. At least both main characters are adults – regardless she is older or not. It’s a pleasant suprise for a drama which get a lot of hate before it even started to be doing this good, so good for Park Min young. She was struggling a little to get out of WWWSK image and Park Seo joon’s shadow but now she can be relieved. My only complaint the second leads are written annoyingly bad to make the main leads shine more – I like Yoon Park so to see him in such character annoyed me tbh.

But my personal choice over weekend drama is Through The Darkness, so glad to see the drama resuming this weekend.

  9. Gosh how many of us in “nerd” occupations are appreciating this drama. In my sparsely populated area, weather forecasts are followed closely because spinning off a road in a blizzard is such a drag. In a huge city, that same forecast can cost millions. Glad you are enjoying.

  10. Haven’t seen Forecasting Love and Weather, but the pace of Twenty-Five Twenty-One has been great so far. Nam Joo Hyuk isn’t too bad, but it’s obvious Kim Tae Ri is the one stealing the show.

    • I like 2521 more. Maybe because it brings back the memories of 1990’s.The struggles and loves developed seem genuine. NJH is not LJS however he definitely builded his blocks higher from startup. He has a passionate eyes expression and masculine voice. He will climb the ladder of success. KTR on the other hand is excellent in any roles she took. As for 2521 I am happy to say, she has me added to her list of fan. Love her acting skills.

I watched FLW too simply because I am a fan of Song Kang however I found FLW romances is too easy but this drama gave me ideas how the work of weather forecast department and how important smart people for this field are.

  11. I bet the team behind NWABU is jealous knowing that their noona romance brought in low ratings and was universally panned whereas the exact opposite is happening here.

  12. FLAW has an interesting stage (Meteorologists) which is kinda refreshing. I don’t feel the romance between the two leads other than rebounds after being cheated. The fact that FL does not want the office to know about their relationship, hiding from coworkers at the restaurant seem very childish and does not match her “supervisor” image so-to-speak. As a professional and a Team Leader, she should act more maturely by facing her team members boldly, there is nothing to be ashamed of going out with a junior if this is her intention. If she does not want to face office romance, she must either break it off or transfer the ML to another team. She is letting lust dominate over her weak brain. Her infatuation for ML is just not convincing to me.
