  2. I’m happy that KNG won something for this role! He really deserves it.

KSH was great in Hometown Cha Cha Cha, but clearly his fandom is powerful.

For Jisoo, it’s clearly only her fandom. She wasn’t as great in Snowdrop…

But the nominated ones were weirdly chosen. SYJ is a great actress but 39 was boring, LSY didn’t really shine in this role for me, sadly they focused too much on LJH.

    • Yeah yeah go on by commenting JISOO won because of her fandom, popularity and so on she worked hard and deserve it
Other actresses have so kuch more experience then her but she did a great job as a rookie actress

  3. I wonder why chuckle? Is it because of hate or surprise by the result? You should not be surprise at all. As you stated, seoul international drama award is made for k-dramas and foreign televisions. The winners are probably famous around the world not only in korea. If you are unhappy with the results, korea should not made an international award. Clearly, international fans really see the potential with these two. They deserve it, they worked hard for it.

    • I’m American from California subscribed to Netflix. Kim Son Ho was so good in his role in “Hometown Cha Cha Cha. His portrayal transcended “Korean” drama. I’ve rewatched it several times marveling how his character moves me every time…

    • Because koala is biased against Kim Seon Ho (she’s team Dosan/Nam Joo Hyuk when Start Up was airing, and apparently, that’s enough for her to hate KSH lmao)

This site overall has a hate boner for Kim Seon Ho. Watch how that annoying-ass emoji user and her millions of other usernames will come out of the woodwork to bash him and comment predictable β€œoppar” BS, meanwhile KSH is winning. He’s supposedly β€œcancelled”, yet here he is, winning an award and he has two new endorsements, two of the biggest brands in our country (one was a clothing brand who was also endorsed by the likes of Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Jerry Yan, Adam Levine, Liam Hemsworth, Lucy Hale, Joe Jonas, Brooklyn Beckham, etc.).
Oh well, let them be bitter, us fans have plenty to celebrate about 😎

  4. Of Course Jisoo doesn’t have to work hard. She has big fanbasexto back up. I’m so sorry for Lee Se Young and Son Yejin who are 1000 times talented than her

    • Jisoo literally auditioned for her role in snowdrop and got selected because o of her skills not for her fandom or popularity the other actresses are really on top level of acting but as a rookie actress she did show her top notch acting skills don’t just write anything here because you wanted some other to win the fact is SHE WORKED HARD . Don’t comment that she got everything because of her popularity

      • JISOO NEVER AUDITIONED FOR THE ROLE. THE DIRECTOR HIMSELF SAID HE WANTED TO CAST JISOO AND URGED HER TO PERSUADE HER AGENCY. STOP SPREADING MISINFORMAYION AS IF WE KNEW NOTHING. THE GIRL HAS SOME GOOD PARTS BUT SHE’S NOWHERE NEAR OTHER 2 CANDIDATES. NOT TO MENTION HER TERRIBLE PRONUNCIATION

      • She worked hard but she won a category that was 100% based on fan votes. It’s just fair to say that compared to LSY and SYJ who themselves worked hard in their drama, Jisoo had the edge for having a bigger fandom backing her up.

    • she did best performace as rookie , iam not a blink but I never voted her as a blink , she did great acting as rookie , she deserves it , please stop spreading hate .

    • Why you mad if jisoo win the award??? She already work hard for this achievement. did all of you that talk bad about jisoo vote this category for your favorite actress??? Don’t put blame on other people. stfu

  5. I’m American from California subscribed to Netflix. Kim Son Ho was so good in his role in “Hometown Cha Cha Cha”. His portrayal transcended “Korean” drama. I’ve rewatched it several times marveling how his character moves me every time…

  6. Kim Seon Ho is indeed an internationally recognized Hallyu Star for his great acting skills and versatility in tackling another “Character Of the Year” worthy, as Hong Banjang in a blockbuster Hometown Cha Cha Cha globally popular also. He deserves the Best Actor award.

    • Indeed. No TV or movie projects, yet still winning an award and getting new endorsements (he’s now the new face of two of our country’s biggest brands).
      King πŸ‘‘
I’ll just be chillin here and watch how the haters come out and foam at the mouth about how β€œhe’s not deserving” and cry about β€œb-but muh abortion scandal” and other blah blah predictable oppar insults. As if their bashing will make may difference in real life πŸ˜‚
Proof they can’t bring a good man down 😎

  7. Same reaction. If the award is based on skills, the 2 winners doesn’t deserve the award but since the winner is decided by voting, then the fandom do the magic. That is the reason why they attached the word hallyu. Not everyone are given the chance to vote so the results are unreliable.

  8. The award should be Most Popular Actor and Actress not Best actor and best actress. They dont live up to the title. There are a lot of actors and actresses deserving to that title. Though I acknowledge their efforts and hardwork but they will shine best on other fields.

  9. Many fans didn’t participate in the voting which is understandable. It’s kind of weird buying votes for Best Actor award. They should have named it Most Popular Award and maybe more fans would have participated.

  10. Why not just call it as popularity award?…it feels cheating and literally low-key bidding/buying awards when important titles were given due to fanvotes especially if everyone (except fans) know that the artist didn’t deserve it.

    • Chuckle chuckle till my 😭😭😭😭😭 what you sow is what you reap chuckle chuckle 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
