K-ent is Reporting that Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee’s Upcoming K-drama The Price of Confession Has Been Nixed

I don’t know yet what the real reason is but it definitely sounds juicy. K-ent is reporting that the thriller dual female lead drama The Price of Confession which had cast Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee will not be going forward. The first report was that the two leading ladies left the production but later Han So Hee’s agency said it was the first they heard about it. Then the news said it was the production that decided not to go forward as it did not feel confident about the drama as pre-production went along. I’m glad dramas that are not up to par isn’t made especially one that is so high profile, either do it right or nix the project and everyone moves to future works.

  1. The way the production company handled this was so unprofessional that even it’s parent company JTBC/SLL and Studio Dragon had to speak up on their behalf. And they are not a small boutique production house but one that has Netflix credits. This was PD Lee Eung Bok’s pet project and when he dropped this to prioritize Sweet Home 2&3 it seemed like it might not go ahead. When SHK and HSH confirmed casting with a new PD that waa likely a last ditch effort to get the project going. But yeah unprofessional all around.
