The Childe Director Park Hoon Jung Gets Flack for Doing the Exact Same Movie Poster Design as His Prior Flick The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion

I don’t think this is a controversy but more like viewers calling out some lazy movie design work. Upcoming thriller movie The Childe (The Gentleman) released a full cast movie poster and K-netizens noticed that it looks exactly the same as the full cast movie poster for The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion. The kicker is that both movies are from director Park Hoon Jung who also directed The Witch: Part 2 and other hit films so he’s quite well regarded. On the flip side, this movie poster style is also relatively common. The Childe releases on June 21st so let’s see if these bits of extra chatter around the movie results in a strong box office.
